Yeah, that's the one I'm talking about. He went from a RB Cat back to a Turbo XS unit & a Turbo XS midpipe & got 10 whp. Nathan even posted another/their dyno of Polak's car with the RB cat back vs. TXS Exhaust & TXS midpipe & it looks like a 9 whp difference. Am I missing a post/thread somewhere else that is showing 20+ whp gain ? Not hating, just wondering.

Wow!
That is an agressive sound.
How many db does it run at with the pipe and catback?
Polak mentioned: "Note* silencers were removed from the XS catback, mainly b/c they don't look good in there."
Keep that in mind when watching the videos.

The car is crying for a turbocharger as 130-140 ft/lbs is just doesn't cut it. The car handles so well that it’s a shame the car is underpowered from the factory. It would be nice to give the car at least as much motivation as my Elise (Armaant can attest to what that would feel like as he drove it while he was here), but an even better goal would be to make the car accelerate somewhat like one of our stage 2 STIs (Armaant got a ride in one of those). I’ve driven a lot of cars, and own one of the best handling cars in the world, and I am still impressed with the RX8. I just think it needs a little more go.
We’ll start with a small and manageable turbocharger and work our way up from there. I’d hate ruin the balance of the car by adding an overly large turbocharger.
Update:
The RB cat-back will not fit with the TurboXS race-pipe. We are just going to swap the RB cat-back out for the TXS cat-back out and continue our testing.

Looking at the midpipe connection and the metal gasket donut, I would say the TurboXS midpipe would only work with the TurboXS exhaust. But the TurboXS exhaust will fit onto the stock cat.

Here's pics of why the TurboXS midpipe will only work with the TurboXS exhaust.
The metal gasket connection is too big to fit onto the stock/most aftermarket exhausts.
This is comparing it to the B&B midpipe which has smaller piping.
Now, the exhaust should be compatible with any midpipe.

The first sets of RB exhausts when something like 172, 185,186,187,188,190 so after that first run we were fairly consistant.
The Turbo XS just catback stuff was consitant as well something like 190,191,192,193,194
The XS catback with race pipe was even more so something like 194,193,194,195, etc.
Nathan email me those sceenshots when you get some time tomorrow mark87G@comcast.net

with all respect i dont believe just changing ur exhaust your gona get 13hp to the wheels, this car must have other mods, like header ecu upgrade and intake. wondering its really anyoing loud or a nice deep roar like the z

TurboXS is any honest and reliable company that make excellent products. Their parts actually make real HP gains from what I have seen. I used them on my old WRX. Any exhaust can make a big difference in performance if built/tuned correctly. These guys know what they are doing.
