StopTech BIG Brake Kit
StopTech is one of the best names in the biz when it comes to brake systems. One of the only companies that spends the money in R&D for each car and race applications. This is the brake kit of choice for our project cars and will be going on our Project RX8. Using state of the art CAD design these brakes are repeatedly tested on the street as well as the track. Features are improved braking, better ventelation to the rotor and caliper, four piston design, available in slotted or drilled.

I plan on replacing the stock setup with higher temp pads and brake fluid before the next track event (Spring). Hopefully that will do the trick. If it doesn't then the StopTech big brake kit is at the top of my wish list. :D

What I have been told from the tech guys at StopTech is that neither kit will fit with the stock wheels w/o a spacer. If you go to their web site www.stoptech.com you can go to the applicaton secton and down load a blue print of the caliper and rotor to check the wheel clearance. I will do this and check it out my self and get back to you with a definate answer. It will be easier to do since my stock wheels are off the car and stacked up on my porch. I'm 99% sure that the larger of the two kits will not work with the stock wheels.
