1/4 mile time slips in Bay area?
Where can I go in the SF Bay area (I live in Oakland) to get a legit, documented 1/4 mi run?

only one I can think of is sears point, thats in sonoma.

Do cops roll in that area? I would love to bring my CZ, Canscan and laptop to test and tune there.

a detector will help, but out of 95/100 times i've been there doing over 100, it's safe.

he wants a documented run, i.e time slips, i doubt stop sign to sign in 13 secs count as "documented".

I had no idea my 8 was designed for low end torque. Dayuum...you mean I have a dragster?

Best I got out of my RX-8 is 15.3 at a 4k RPM Launch at 96MPH over at Sacramento. Mazda says 14.5 is possible, I haven't tried a higher launch RPM.
