Hello Arizona 8s. As most of you know we have unfortunately lost our event organizer Sanguine Dark. I would like to start a new list for 8 owners using email notification for upcoming events. Please pm me or email me through the forum with the email address you would like used. This will make everything a hell of a lot easier then trying to send out 20+ private messages. I don’t know how Dark did it but that guy had some serious patience.

Currentlly its hosted on AZRX8.com. I haven't looked at when the domain expires we haven't discussed the domain issue yet. Hopefully Jesse will get w/ me soon.

Oh yea,

Sorry to post again so quickly, but just to clarify, the event is SUNDAY morning not Saturday!

 

i will be at the practice event on saturday. me and my lonesome rotary self

we (tim and I - Tim, I sent in my pre-reg) will be there on sun. I am running in the second group, roughly about 10 am. the first group begins at 9 am.

it is always free to hang and watch. if ne1 comes out on sat, ur more then welcome to ride-along with me. the azsolo2 group even has loaner helmets

directions:
I-10 West --> Avondale Blvd South
After you cross the bridge over the Salt River just North of the track, the road curves to the West.
There's an entrance to the main track right at the end of that curve, do NOT use that entrance.
Proceed for ~3/4 mile and there should be a small SCCA sign that directs a left turn into the parking area. The waiver station is set up a few hundred yards South of the turn you just took.

There is a SCCA Solo II event on January 16, 2005 in which Pret and RCCAZ are competing. Come join us to support your fellow 8s. I'm not sure how long the event will last but I wouldn't mind taking I ride to South Mountain afterwards. Anyone else up for it?
