u missed a great time last nite Sue ans Mac !
I think I counted 8 8's 6 7's a couples 3's five 6's and 1 Mx-5 and a RePu
Other words a really good turnout.
Erick and Miki showed up in a 6! What was up with that?
One small sorta kinda run in with Colbalt driver.
Just needed a few drinks afterward and it would have been a perfect nite.

It WAS a great night once it started to cool down...dang! We got to park in the official car show rows though so that was neat, and we got 2 rows facing each other. Even better! 09Factor brought a couple friends of his (John & Shirl was it?) who have a brand spankin new blue MX5. I just love those cars and they sure seem to be enjoying their new toy.
Nice meeting Mock and his friends, in his new VR 8. If I remember correctly he's changed out the wheels and springs, and put on strakes & appearance package. Correct me if I'm wrong. So glad you made it!
It was also nice meeting Mark who's our newest RCCAZ member as of last week. He drive the Ti and works at the same company as our club president Tim Eull.

Here's a quote from brokenman @ AZMC. I thing he's right, with the early departures and late arrivals, we probably had 30 cars show up at one time or another.
Here are a couple pics I took, showing the rotaries and pistons showing together in harmony
Lots of AZMC folks representing. Lisa drove all the way up from Tuscon in her brand new blue 3!
Tom's rotary truck always amazes me. And some 7's for your viewing pleasure
Hey who's this silly clown?
We had an awesome turnout. Over 30 cars throughout the night with lots of different Mazdas [one Scion] and owners. It was AZMC, RCCAZ, AZRX7, etc ,etc. There were FB RX7s, a rotary truck, two red FCs, several FDs, RX8s, new awesome blue Miata, 3's and 6's.

The adjustor for my insurance went and looked at the car yesterday and gave Finishing Touch a check. But at this point , the other guy's insurance company has not looked at the car and they should be out today to look at it.
I can have my insurance pay for it and pay my $300 deductable and have them start on the car sooner and get my deduct. back when they place blame. Or I can wait for them to determine fault and the other guys insurance company pay for it.
Damage dollar figure was a couple of bucks under $4000.00
So I figure I will wait another day or two and see what happens.

Interested in another get together
I showed up way late to the thing at the pavillions on saturday and everyone was just leaving. What I was wondering is if any one was game for doing something on the September 2nd that saturday night or sunday the 3rd during the day. Being its two weekends away we should be able to plan something, I havent done anything with the 8's or the 7's in a good long while.

Erick that $4k in damage is just mind blowing. I don't blame you for waiting another couple days to see what that guys insurance says.
