Sorry for the late notice on this event everyone. We only had 3 show up at Keegans (Poolside, myself and Steve L), so we decided to part ways with Steve and myself still driving to the top of South Mountain. Well, once we crested the peak, low and behold, Jesse and Lynn were there waiting for us in their RX-8. After chewing the fat for a half hour or so, we went our separate ways and called it a day. Still a great excuse for a drive and a picture perfect day for romping up South Mountain.
See everyone in a couple of weeks!
Any news on 09 Factor and MM's tuning session??
How about Easy_E1. Suprised to not see you and the wiffy in attendance. Hope everyone is OK!

Well today was pretty much a bust but not surprising since we set it up so late. And most folks were at NOPI last weekend. Just 3 of us showed up, me, Tim (yellow 7 & club prez) and Steve (montego blue 7). We met at Keegan's and about an hour later decided to push off. They drove south mountain, I decided to squeeze in a hike instead.
Ladies of RCCAZ I have good news for you about our t-shirts. We have Girl Tanks now! Check it out.

Details of the graphic on the club shirts. These are pics of actual members cars at various RCCAZ events. I love the design this year!
Next time though y'all!

To answer your question Tim, 3 lbs safe. MM's laptop batt gave out and we called it a day at 6:30
Sorry to hear that only 3 showed up. The rain this morning did put a damper on things for sure.
I don't like the RCCAZ shirt pic. my 8 isn't in it. I feel let down :-(. (j/k)

Now I understand why no one was at Keegan's when I showed up at 1-2 pm today. I didn't have time for the drive but tried to make the lunch. I guess we'll try the next time. Things have been a bit hectic in my neck of the woods lately. I may even be moving out of the valley in the next month or so. I hope we have at least one more get together before the wife and I end up leaving if that's the way things work out.
I like the graphic on the shirt. Nice job.
09 - I hope to see the car before I leave. Sounds like you're making decent progress. Slow and sure steps are a good thing.

That's the way things are shaping up. It's not a guarantee yet but if I was a gambling man... that would be where I would place my bet.
Either way the run has been fun so far.

Thats not the main reason, but still is one. The cooling just sucks peroid.
I forgot you have a 3rd. So you already knew the cooling sucked.

Everyone,
Sorry for forgetting to post this, but Berny did call me about 2 weeks ago on a Friday evening when I was buried in the bowels of my proposal to mention that September 22-23 has been SET for Sevenstock weekend. Intended to post it right away, but got sidetracked. 09Factor's email jogged my memory. Woot WOOT indeed!!!! Start blocking out your calendars!
Near term, just wanting to know if everyone is still up for out P6 drive on Saturday, April 7 (Phoenix to Payson, Payson to Prescott, and Prescott back to Phoenix). It will be a FULL day of driving, but it should be fun. Early plan is to leave from the Wendy's at the corner of Shea and the Bee Line Highway at 8 am. Quick breakfast and gas stop in Payson, then on to Prescott via Camp Verde, Cottonwood, Jerome. Then late lunch at Murphy's in Prescott before we stirr it all up on the twisties South of Prescott on our way into Wickenburg, and ultimately, NW Phoenix. Let me know if you wanna GO!!
Remember.... it's EASTER weekend, so if you think another weekend might work better for you, please let us know and post up ASAP!
