Everyone,
What time is Chickenwafer's BBQ on Sunday? Any interest in still pulling off a Poker Run late morning, then those who want to go to the CW BBQ can head over there early afternoon? I'll send out a teaser email tomorrow morning to try and drum up some interest. We had to put one of our pets down last Saturday, so I'm sorry, but I've been pretty darn Asleep at the Wheel this entire week.

My car should be another 2 weeks or so... 
then after that it's going to Mazda for a new paddle shifter (broke), oil change, and maybe brakes. And the good thing is...I've saved enough money to start doing fun things to my car...SWEET

Current plans are to meet at F1 Race Factory around 9 am with the first car departing at 9:30. Maps will be provided. Participants will proceed to South Mountain Park where they'll collect playing cards (5 total) at each rest stop. The car with the best poker hand at the end will win a special door prize.
Following the poker run, we'll wrap up the event with food and additional door prizes at F1 Race Factory, and anyone that wants to stay post event for some racing activity at F1 is welcomed to do so.

This weekend's event is Sunday morning June 8th. Our trip over to the West Side for the Saturday evening car show will be moved to July. Sorry for the mixup. I'll send a revised calendar out before Friday to clear up the current confusion. Anyway, here's this weekend's event:

Friday thru Sunday, September 26-28 – Sevenstock XI at Mazda HQ in Irvine CA.
Sunday, October 12 – All Japan Car Show in Irvine. Unofficial RCCAZ event for anyone who wants to caravan (or carpool) over.
Saturday, October 25 – Annual Skull Valley Halloween Run. Details and meeting time and place to be announced.
Sunday, November 23 – Fifth Annual Turkey Trot and Rotary Romp out to Tortilla Flats. Details and meeting time and place to be announced.
Sunday, December 7 – Annual Toyz for Totz Holiday Cruise and Toy Drive to Wickenburg sponsored by Remember When Cruise Assn and Cops Who Care.
January 1, 2009 – New Year’s Day South Mountain Run and Go Karting at F1 Race Factory.

Woah, I know I saw a full on description of it, figured it was typo just did a quick look and paste. My dates have been so off...I just want my car. I've been so bummed out without it.
