This will be a great event. For anyone who haven't be to a drifting event, it's the one of the best shows around. Although our 8's don't drift too well, it's so much fun to just attend and spectate these drifting events. It's the finals so we'll get to see all the best performances.

why dont are 8's drift well? and what can we do to make them drift easier?

Formula D is on saturday? Why don't you just go to Zoom Zoom Live on sunday?

And 8's are hard to drift because of their handling characteristics and I believe because of their perfect 50/50 ratio.
Even though Alex Pheiffer does drift a S2000...
Well... these are my personal speculations of course, could be wrong ^^

 

Yeah it's hard to drift an 8, first hard to get tail out at low speed due to lack of torque, and once you do get the back out, the car just doesn't want to stay adrift. I heard there were be an 8 drifting in the show though.

The 8 doesnt drift well because it doesnt have any power. Simple as that. It cant keep the tires spinning well enough.

But if you have it in the power around 4-5k rpm with a decent 2nd gear corner, give it a little clutch pop and she comes out nice. Just doesnt hold it long for the mentioned lack of power.

Should be much nicer with a turbo.
