Aftermarket Performance Parts in Riverside
I stepped into this place on the corner of Indiana and Arlington just to see what they had and of course it was mostly for pistons and ricers.
I asked the guy working there about an exhaust and intake for the RX8 and if he could get something from Racing Beat.
He automatically said Greedy and AEM and started on his sales pitch. I had to mention again I was interested in Racing Beat and he said, "Who are they?", and "I have never heard of them". I wasn't going to sit there are educate him on the Rotary engine history, so I changed the subject to Wheels. Volks SF challenge. 18's at around 2400. That's about 600 a wheel. I don't know about that.
Shouldn't this guy in an aftermarket performance parts place know about RB?
I didn't know about any of this until I purchased the 8, but what excuse dose he have. Maybe he just want's to push what he has.

not everyone will know about racing beat...racing beat will only cater to the mazda heads...and keep in mind...he's just a salesman...he doesn't know much...

Yup. Somthing like that. They were Ortega motorsports or something like that. I don't know what happened to them. Along with selling the aftermarket stuff, they were selling the actual tuned cars. Kinda Fast-N-Furious like.
I guess people would rather tune their wreck, than buy a tuned wreck. :p
