I'll post up a list on Monday for you all!

I posted within a few hours... I had to tweak the web home page a bit before releasing it here....

No problem WD... beyond my close friends, not many knew too far ahead of the notice.

Also, I ONLY gave the RX-8 forum a heads up previously! :D

Cheers,

My shortcut was taking the V-8. Not so much the engine (307hp/340tq) as the chassis--the car is totally stable at 130. Not that I was driving those speeds on open highways. That would be against the law. But if you have open road in front of you with no other cars around, the thought surely is tempting. Hypothetically speaking of course.

Guys,
sorry for the no update yet. I'm finding it rough running on this deal, because summer time in Monterey is very busy for hotels/motels. I'll have an answer either way on Mon/Tues. Stay tuned!

"THEW", didn't you recieve my e-mail on this topic?

-Lodging:
I would like to know how many folks will need lodging for this track day. I'm working on a group deal, but need an approximate number for my negotiation. Please respond ASAP, so I can try and get this deal done.

----------------

Yes I did .. but had not heard.. I did send back my name for your list..

and yes it well be very hard to get a good deal at this time of year. Hotel rates here in SB are 230 a night and up ..

So.. I am just hoping we can at least all stay in the same place.. Maybe we can get a free breakfast from them heheh.. Anyway be ready to shell out some big bucks to stay.

I will dirve up Friday afternoon. Stay that night and then also stay the night of the event (saturday) I dont want to drive back to S.B. after all that driving .. I will let my car rest and me and the wife will to ...

For those on the waiting list, when will we expect to hear yea or nay?

Meanwhile if you want good hotel rates check out Salinas. Maybe 20 minutes away and $60/night.
