Any L Flash Upgrade Success or Failures?

Any L Flash Upgrade Success or Failures?
I just went in to get all of the recall stuff taken care of and try and get the tsbs done and was basically called a liar and that just because you see a tsb doesn't mean they have to apply it. "We have to duplicate the problem" What a bunch of crock.
I asked him about the tsb being an upgrade he said it didn't matter. It was like we were in a duel or boxing ring. He would take a shot or punch and I would have to duck and counter.
I had copies of the tsbs and went in there armed.
I know there are some mazda service people on this site. If they can reply with some sort of feedback it would be appreciated.
If he would have said, "Well, let us take a look at it and we will get back with you." Maybe he was having a bad day. But that doesn't mean he has to make my day just as bad. Something has to be said about customer service. Does this stink start at the head and go down. Is this something that is discussed in meetings and they are told be the hardest A$$ as possible cause we aint doin no tsbs for nothin.
This was at Riverside Mazda. I'm so glad that I didn't by from them.
Does it have to do with the fact that they handle Hyundas, and Hondas also. I don't think that is an excuse.
I have seen other peoples posts about not getting it done and going elsewhere.
I ended up taking it to where I bought it (Redlands Mazda)and the guy knew all about the flooding problem and that the older rx's would have the same problem. I should have taken it here in the first place, but I wouldn't have this crazy post. When I had the Oil light issue they didn't tell me they would have to duplicate the oil light for them to apply the tsb.
Just venting. Kinda sad that all these dealers don't just treat people with respect and the same.

I just had my 8 flashed today at Thousand Oaks Mazda. I was there for the air bag harness recall, headlamp adjustment, and flash. I told the service advisor, "I understand that there is a new caliberation and would like to get it." He didn't even blink while writing up the order. The entire process took one and half hours, exactly what the advisor estimated.
Surprisingly non-eventful process at the service department. I may have to re-evaluate my dislike and mistrust of dealers. Thumbs up to Thousand Oaks Mazda.

I can't really say whether it is success or failure, because there hasn't been much change. The engine idles and runs up through the gears smoother than before (which I did not think possible), but the gas mileage has stayed consistent at 15.5 mpg city and slightly more highway around 17.3 mpg. I have used 93 octane all times from the same gas station.
Not a complaint as I did not buy this car for fuel efficiency, but it would be a big plus if it got more. I am just over 5200 miles, but my baby is in the shop to get a new bumper cover and left front headlight. Couldn't afford the Mazdaspeed kit right now, which sucks as it would have been the perfect time to get it, but enough crying, back to the original point....mileage is average...

I've got the AP on mine. I can just imagine what the MS front would look like in velocity Red.
Tite.
I just finished a weekend long trip. Still have more than a half a tank with approx. 120-130 miles used. Looks good so far.

It just helps to have a good dealer I guess. When I took mine in for the recalls I said, "Hey Greg, I hear there is an L flash for the car, can you guys take care of that?" I guess if you have the free scheduled maintenance its some added leverage, but so far I haven't had a single problem getting any sort of service, repair, or replaced part under warranty. Go Brown's Fairfax! However, now that I am rolling up the miles (12k+) I'd imagine I'm starting to exit some of the realms of no hassle service.
