I would expect any good shop to advise the customer about the fuel trim reset, if they had disconnected the battery. Kind of a fail, if they didn't....

^ Jedi.. I haven't taken it back yet cuz i just have been swamped the last few days... And I remember when I changed my coils, i had similar symptoms and within a day or two, improved. Now that it is 2 days since I got it back, I'll give them a call later today to see when I can bring it by.

Yes, the water pump was replaced but my car was not seized... When i saw the coolant busting out from the water pump, there was still about 25% coolant left in the tank and my temp gauge never moved.. I know our temp gauge sux *** in terms of being a good indicator, but on the plus side it didnt move.

What is SRI anyway? When I bought it from a member on this forum, he said he lost the Air box or something, so I got only this thing.

Just wanted to bump for a quick update. took my car back to neptune speed and thank goodness it was something small... it was a cracked intake tube and got that replaced. yoshida also cleaned out my throttle body. inexpensive fix and again, great guys at neptune speed...

Yoshiya at Neptune Speed changed my oil (and plugs, coils, wires) yesterday; he advised to avoid synthetic oils because it's difficult to know which ones burn cleanly, except for maybe Idemitsu's.

(But that Idemitsu exception also seems in doubt, based on a photo and finding in the "translation" link you'll find in Post #2000 of the "Cumulative Synthetic Oil Discussion" string on this site.)
