Anyone purchase their RX8 from Browing Mazda in Cerritos, California?
I'm interested in buying an RX 8 once I move to California from New Jersey for work. I'm wondering if anyone in this forum has bought their RX 8 from the Browning Mazda dealership. I talked to them several times and they stated they are competetive in their prices. So far they will just sell me the car at MSRP.

I bought mine from them, and I know several other members on the board have. Straight up dealership with no B.S. You should be
able to get one at a discount from MSRP at this time. Good luck!

Bottom feeder
I shopped there and found them to be very straight-forward, also.. ZERO pressure, and quite sincere in their sales approach, as far as I experienced just "looking" at the car.
I ended up getting mine from Santa Monica Mazda, because it was closer to my work.
edit: actually I forgot a couple of negatives I just remembered now... The FIRST sales guy didn't know squat about the car and did gave me bs specs about the car... GRRR... Like the car had 280 HP... HAHA.. I hate stupid salespeople. But he did quickly give me a sales brochure after I asked for one. The other thing is most of their cars on their lot at price-gauging add-ons like "Int/Ext. Protection Treatment" for like $700.. WHATEVER.. But they didn't give me any trouble and said they were happy to get me exactly what I want at MSRP, so long as I accept a delivery wait.

zxphenom,
I've been a die hard Mazda fan since 1991 when my brother lent me his 323 for 7 years. Since then I have bought a 626 and an MPV. I both the 626 and MPV were not bought at Cerritos because at the time their salespeople were completely incompetent. I was ready to buy the cars and they weren't willing to deal. I walked into other smaller dealerships and ordered the cars at my price (few hundred over invoice) with no hassles. I think it is because the Cerritos auto square deals more in volume and knows that they will always make sales. Too bad for them.
On a positive note, I am going to buy an RX-8 next year if the reliability is good and have been talking to this young guy, Armando. He has been straight forward so far and seems willing to deal and isn't pushy. I'd recommend asking for him and tell him the guy with the 626 and MPV sent you.
Good luck!!!

Thanks Xtasy94, I will probably call them within this week and see how the sale people are. If Armando seems to be straight forward as you say then most likely I will deal with him. I have talked to several sales reps in the past and they seem ok. But being in sales myself, I already have high expectations. Thanks for the info.

I got mine from Browning also, my guy was Stan Web, top notch guy there and very straight forward. Let me test drive the car unlike the dealerships in Irvine. They took care of me good there, got my oil change from them last Friday
