Sup all,

Well, i recently just relocated my family out here in Vegas and wanted to ask you locals where i can get the best deal on auto insurance.. i currently have StateFarm, but its freakin' expensive here .. like double! so, any recomendations? Thanks in advance.

 

Hi Flip. I have Mercury and its super cheap for me. When I got new insurance, I did my homework and basically got quotes from every single insurance company out there (except for Freeway Insurance). Mercury (for me) was the cheapest. I don't have any speedin tickets or accidents but I am young and female. hehe.

A suggestion is if you're going to live in L.A. but your parents live in another city, you might say that you'll be living in that city because insurance in L.A. costs much more than insurance in another city. I did that for a while and saved a little bit of $$.

Since my forte is insurance (although I do commercial) I can tell you to shop around and then at least once a year get quotes from other agencies... Insurance just goes up every year and co. are able to credit/debit you account even if there's no claims...so keep this in mind at your renewal...call and complain especially if you haven't had claims... If they want to keep your business they will credit your renewal to as close (if not the same) as it was at expiring...especially if you say "so & so" quoted it at a lower price...
