I just got back home from the meet, and I had a great time. Thanks Rishie for giving us the opportunity to gather at your shop. Wish I could afford those tires you had on your 8, maybe in a few months if I manage to find a new job

BTW I was the guy with the other blue 8. I'm lookin forward to the next meet. Maybe we could have a drive? I'd like to get some pics of a highway filled with 8's.

First of all, I wanted to thank Rishie (from AutoRnD) and Mike (Moostafa) and everyone else who organized this meet. The turn out was great and it was nice meeting and seeing everyone. If you don't remember who I am, I was Brian with the Blue FD. Anyways, here's the pictures I took with my camera phone, so don't expect high quality pictures. If anyone else wants to add theirs go ahead. BTW, Rishie, the wheels of your 8 are the wheels I want on my FD as you can tell by all the pictures I took of your car!

 

if its ok with you can i take these picts and put it in a online album so i can share it with all the forums... if thats koo that would be great. and thanks to everone who came....hopefully we'll have more.. im sure we can all plan something agian....

Yes please more pics. Next meet will definitely be a "DESTINATION MEET and DRIVE". Let's wait til spring time and that's a definite definite to do.

I wanna get some cameras mounted on cars so we can get the pack traveling and so forth. It would be really cool to see some a whole group of rotaries dominating the highway and freeways.

I have a Sony Ericsson S710a a 1.3mpixle camera phone. I'm a gadget guy and I had this phone before Cingular brought it to the states and offered it as one of their phones, I was pretty pissed when they introduced it and then everyone else started buying them.

I am looking at getting a Hiptop III (aka sidekick) or a Sony Ericsson K750i for my daily phone coming up. Depending on what the Hiptop III is going to have camera wise and capabilities, I might just use that as my all around phone. The K750i is an amazing phone though with an even better camera of 3.0+ mpixle camera. I was debating between my S710a and the K750i but I ended up with the S710a and have loved it since.

BTW, Rishie, hook me up with your wheels ;-)

The k750i is NOT a 3mp camera, its a 2mp camera... just telling you b4 u jump in and get one still however, its a great fone... i'm still using mine... i'm trying to find this bluetooth remote control car... the people at SE sure know how to keep a guy occupied

 

I'm using the new Samsung i310. :P 2k+ MP3s, recorded about 2+ hours of video.

 

I'm happy with my Samsung A900 (Blade). Best phone I've owned to date.

 

o actually another thing to think about when it comes to the k750i... most likely ur gonna be using Cingular or TMobile, well since it uses GSM1900(i'm pretty sure i got this correct)... its kinda hard to get bars even in the bay... and the volume is kinda low on mine, but i use a headset so it's fine for me that way... but while everyone i know basically owns a Razr... my SE just blows everyone elses fones away, except the fobs with there O2's

I got that phone too. Too bad the battery life blows and reception is mediocre at best on that phone otherwise I would be hootin and hollerin at everyone who has sprint to get this phone because it is so far sprint's only bluetooth compatible phone on the market(I think) and it is sexy.

I was busy Autocrossing the 8 with the new suspension in Marina with the UFO club. Too bad this meet was in the same day as this event...

There are some in the horizon in Thunderhill... I am sure some of you guys will like to "show" what your mods can do right?

I would be totally down for a track event, but that Thunderhill event is on Monday June 19th. If it was on the weekends I would so be in for that.

 

Really? My battery lasts quite long when I'm talking on the phone, and have never had a problem with reception. Maybe you just got a bad one?
