I would like to get to Sedona before 11:30 on Sunday. So the battleplan is this:

Meet at the Dear Valley AMC 30 Theater in the Parking lot furthest west starting @ 8:30.
Leave @ 9:00 that way we have plenty of time and it's still cool out.

I'll have maps of the route up to and back from Sedona. Once in Sedona there is the Tourest side ( little shops, places to eat, ect) and the left side (Fry food prkng lot.). The last time we were up there we tried to park in the big parking lot behind the large sandwich shop and it was not fun getting out of it (read steep incline).
Please bring any FRS radios you may have also. That way we don't get to split up in Sedona.

On the way back I'm thinking of going down Yarnell hill and if any one is intrested stopping by my house for Cake or we could take over the local Sonic for Dessert.

I'll poset this in the RCCAZ section here and the Azrx8.com page also.

Sounds good. Count me in for April 30th. I'll send this out to our member list tomorrow as well as info on signing up as a CLUB for the coming 2-day JGTC event (May 13-14) at PIR.

Also, we I can call the Sedona Golf Resort and ask them about a group lunch on their patio for our April 1 drive. The view is spectacular on the patio and the weather should be excellent. Also, they're usually slower on Sunday, the food is excellent, and their prices are reasonable. What do you think??

swtblnde & poolsidenaz - Thanks for the good wishes. Unfortunately it is not likely I would catch, or want to catch the culprit. The vandalism, so to speak, was likely due to a 12 year old girl leaving a girls softball league game, carrying and swinging (while whistlin' her favorite tune) a bat, ball, etc. bag, and her Mom's beige auto-opening side door, on Monday when I went to watch my 14 year old girl play in her game. I have two medium side indents that look like a bat was swung one way to momentum into the other way into a van side door, and the off-white zig zag striping to match, against the winning blue paint, is from the van door, that was likely parked way too close to me. It is so ugly lookin', all I can say is **** happens.
To fix the rear door, it not only has to come off, they have to r&r the rear window, too. I should get some touch up out of it. Too bad my comp deductible is $1K, but that's the way it goes

I can see how you would not want to catch the "culprit", but OMG, does the parent have no control over the child to show some respect to others. Granted to them, it's probably "just a car", but you and I both know that is not the case. The "Parent" could have at least offered to compensate for the damages, or if they were not there, left you a note. I'm sorry, I just don't understand the thinking of people these days. It sounds like you are the forgiving kind, and that is commendable. That too is virtually unheard of these days.

Sorry you won't be able to join us, but hopefully we'll see you next time!

Let's just say here, I know when I have no choice. The 14 yr group plays 7:15 to 8:45, while the 12 yr group plays 6-7:15. I parked about 7:10, and just got "lucky" probably 10 minutes later. I was backed in so we were passenger to passenger, and the parent probably got in the driver's door, never knowing what the kid and the door had hit. I am most sorry about the three days loss of the car, far more than anything else.

Before you do purchase, you may want to hear mine. When I first got it from them right after Sevenstock 8, I thought it was way too loud and complained a little to the guy there that sold it to me, because he gave me a money-back guarantee. Then he sent me some Dynamat, and 09factor and I took apart my trunk, and lined it well, even putting some on the outside heat shield over the exhaust. After a few weeks, I then got used to it, and now its fine. It is just a little unnerving at first, because it is quite a bit louder then stock.

Added with a Racing Beat REVi and the ram air scoop, the car sometimes now pops on decel, or coming off a shift at over 6.5K or 7K RPMs. But the combo lets me take the engine up to 9K much easier than when stock, and just over 60 comes in 2nd fast. I am still waiting news on a perfect, non-ECM screwing-around-with supercharger for next.

Dude,
That is crap to here about how your 8 was beat at the ball game. just because it's a 12 yr old or a 92 yr old, I would seek recourse from the parent. I know accidents happen, but come on this? just no excuse for the kid or parent.

Swtblnde,
The CS exhaust won't dron on our cars as much on the MT's.
Our rev's are lower at cruise. Cruise = 80-85 mph. I liked it moment Blue-j started his 8 up. Still regret that I didn't just buy it and hear about it later.

mod party at my house anyone?
I did blue-j's. only problem we had was the springs between the cat pipe and the exhaust pipe. All of the welds are done by hand and the radiusing of the exhaust pipe mouth is hand done as well. It is really nicely put together.
