Speedway is not air conditioned. Swamp coolers are fine for most of the year but I'd not go there in the afternoon or evening for another couple of weeks. I like their track layout, though.

 

I am pretty sure it is tradition to go to F1 after the new years drive.

Oh no the drives are a vital part of having fun for me. Unfortunately it would be hard to drive after spending several days with my body all jacked up from the couch.

I'm heading out to the pavilions tomarrow night if anyone wants to meet up. The more the merrier.

I do know that AZMazdaClub is getting together out there tho. Here's a communication I got about it from RednecksRus(the guy in Prescott I think is where he lives): If your interested we will be at the Pav's next Saturday around 8 PM. A guy from Alabama with a Protege 5 is on vacation in AZ so he is meeting up with us next Saturday night.

 

There is a drift event this weekend at PIR if any of you would like to go. Attendence is free and I think it's $10.00 to quilify. I'm pretty sure it's Saturday night but I'll have to double check the flier on Wednesday.

 

Sorry I didn't see your post till now. Give me a call next time. I didn't see anyone out there from here nor the other mazda club. It was still a hell of a lot of fun though. I ended up taking my bike out there and meeting up with a couple of friends. We hung out at the pavilions till 9pm or so then drove and bsed till about 4am. I finally got to bed at 7am.

To the west of the movie theatre there is a lot that is right along the street. It's on the side of the building and usually pretty empty. It provides easy access to the 17 and 101.


Edit - West of theatre not north. Just got home and I'm burnt. Sevenstock was a blast!
