bad experience with browning mazda
ok first thing. i got my car on june 11th, ordered a spoiler for it the same day i got my car. it took them TWO MONTHS to get my order and have it installed on my car. second, the day my car went in to have the spoiler put on, i went to the enterprise next to them and rented another rx8. when i picked up my car later that evening, i gave the rental 8's keys to the parts assisant manager, and he said he would return the car for me first thing the next day. well enterprise called me today and said no one ever returned the 8. so after a couple of phone calls the parts assisant manager said that he misplaced the keys to the rental 8 . so, i almost got charged for 4 extra days on the rental 8. bottom line? be careful when you do business with browning mazda.

But they quickly replaced it and did a pretty good job with all the new body panels and paint..but i totallly feel ya...the guys at enterprise are pretty nice.. heck, even the gay guy was pretty cool....errrr uhhh take that back..haha

so which dealer would you recommend for service ? n oh yeah i didnt see the gay guy, unless the chinese guy that works there is gay. there was a hot spanish girl working there too. " drools " oh yeah when i was trying to rent the silver 8 they had, they originally told me that they only rent 8s to 25 n over. so i told the guy. look, my 8 is next door getting a spoiler put on, now r u gonna rent me that 8 or no ? so um yea, he did. lol

I haven't tried the service at Browning, but I can say that their Sales Department S-U-X!! I was actually kicked out of the dealer by Bill while negotiating a deal for my RX-8. When we were done with the dealing, I told him that I wasn't 100% about the purchse at that time, and he said after today he'll never sell me the car again after today, when I turned it down, the manager told me to never come back to this dealership ever. That was rather funny actually...I HATE them! I got the same car with a wing for $100 more the next week at Glendale hehehe. Anyways...back to the topic, IMO, Long Beach Mazda has the abosolute friendliest service agents I've ever met, but I don't really know about the work done.

I agree.. the Sales at Browning Blows. I wrote a letter saying so before I made my final purchase at Galpin. Those guys rock, gave us a free meal at their diner across the street while we waited for the paperwork to go through. Later that month, got a free box of cookies, and thank you note from Philip the sales guy.
Service I take mine to Cerritos, they are ok... so far not TOO much problems.
Alex is one of the nicest, most helpful tech at Browning, so ask for him if possible. He's a Rotary owner too.
And of course Warranty Dept. rocks... Go Robert!

I get my car serviced at Cerritos, no complains there, they always did the service fast and one of the tech is on this board too.
On the other hand, I got it serviced in long beach one time, and they tighten up one of my wheels too hard, the tech at Browning had to break the lock, cause he couldn't get the wheel out with the air tool. Will never go back there.

I bought my Shinka from them in May. Ordered the spoiler same day. Sales told me it would take two days, arriving primed then painted because they don't have the blk cherry. 7 days later I called and demanded they get my spoiler. "Oh, we will order it right away"... What the F..K? They scheduled for 3 pm in two days. I arrived at 3:30 pm. "Sir, the install guy has it and will not make it accross town until 5 pm". What the F..K!!! You mean it's a guy in a truck that can travel to install this type of ****? "Yes" It comes already painted, not primed? "yes". What the F..K!!!!!!!!! Why schedule me to come in if this guy is in a truck? It cost more money. I'm going home...
Well, as it turned up the guy got a cancellation on the cross town job and got there soon after. It took him 5 minutes to install my spoiler (stock).
Now, you guys got a car rental for bringing in your 8's to get the spoiler installed?
