Hi all:

A friend of mine in the local BMW club is organizing a charity car show to benefit children in the 9th Ward in New Orleans. There are still a lot of problems there. Some schools still closed, etc.

The details are posted below. There is no entry fee or admission charge. Funds will be raised through the BBQ lunch.

Let me know by response to this post if you’re interested in showing your RX-8 at this event. My friend will set up a space to display RX-8’s. So, bring your 8 and show it off.

ADMISSION: FREE

The Golden Gate Chapter of the BMW Car Club of America is helping to
coordinate a car show at Valley Christian Center in Dublin, California. The format is a BBQ and meet and greet. Clubs like the Audi, NSX and Porsche groups will be in attendance. Lunch is BBQ: $1 hot dogs, $1 burgers and $1 sodas.

100% of the proceeds from the sales of the BBQ items and any cash donations will go to a couple of local churches in Louisiana helping to house, feed, educate, take care of, etc. people in the 9th ward.

 

Almost forgot: I'd appreciate it if someone who's active on the RX-7 site(s) could pass this info along and invite them as well. The more, the merrier.

Count me in ive been off here for ages but now im back and as i live in Dublin im sure i will be able to make it

 

we have a dyno that day too in hayward else i would be there
