Hehe....

The type of b____ I'll make does not require a direct hit since it will have a very large area-of-effect; but I'd rather build gadgets, computers, rc cars, funs stuff, etc.

Anyone here bought the EEPC yet?

So I guess I'll see everyone at the superbowl party.

Not sure where you'd find a template, finishline doesn't seem to have it's instructions section back up yet. Couldnt you just use the edge of the rear lip to determine placemet?

dealerships don't stock the MS wing (usually) and the template is packaged in the box with the wing.
Maybe hit up MANO and ask them if they can send you a copy?

You can come over and measure it if you want but I'm not driving across the bridge so you can touch my holes. i got my own people over here to do that.

That brings it into a whole other world of dirty

anyways, its really simple

first take some blue painters marking tape and tape the whole rear section of your trunk lid, like 6 inches deep

measure the distance between the two foot prints of wing (the things that mount to the trunk lid), from the outer most edge to the outer most edge, lets say for example, 60 inches

Then measure the total distance from the crease to crease on the trunk lid, example 72 inches

subtract the total distance from the foot print distance, 72-60=12 inches

if you divide 12 inches by 2 you get the distance from each crease to the either foot prints, in this case 6 inches on each side mark the tape accordingly

once you have that measurement, take a level and square up the actual wing to the lip of the bumper

after you do that tape the foot prints down, not over the holes, and recheck all of your measurements to make sure everything looks flush

check it again

make REALLY sure you like the way it sits

use a sharpie or something similar to mark where the holes need to be drilled, be EXTREMELY CAREFUL not to move the wing at all

double and triple check that in this process you did not move the wing and it still looks flush

pull the tape you used to secure the wing and drill the holes

when you are done pull the marking tape off and mount your wing

DONE!

does the MS wing, the lip part, have about 4-6 holes you need to drill in? I thought the only holes you need are the the steel part that holds up the upper part of the wing. I would just put painters tape down where you will be drilling. Place the lower part on the trunk, get a sharpie to draw out the holes on the wing. Remove wing, drill the holes, and you are good to go!

If you want to do it on Sunday, I neeed to change out my brakes, we can do both sunday.

Nope, I have a high torque one. It would be helpful if I knew that size of bit to bring though. We have thousands of them at work.

Oh yea! I have a Guitar Hero 3 tourny on Saturday in San Leandro! Go me! I'm gonna win $100.

Also the last GH3 tourny I won put me in the national tourny. I doubt I'll win, but I might be good enough to get some kind of prize.

Shhh.... I'm already doing that....

Well, how about we just get you some 8mm bolts and we'll be ok. We can use some of the bonus bolts from your fender install to install your wing. I think I have some double sided tape somewhere.

Dick cheats at GH3, he has 6 fingers, he sprouted one just for the tourny.
