If you have a lift, I hate you guys. I've been doing all the work on my car in Pepboys' parking lot with my scissor jack and jackstands. I drive into the parking lot, jack it up, and crawl underneath. If I ever need anything, I run into Pepboys to buy it.

It "works." It doesn't mean I like it or that it's convenient, but I don't want anyone else working on my car if I can possibly do it myself, so I go to Pepboys and work in their lot.

Dude. At least you got jackstands! I have to pay out the a$$ to some gorilla handed mechanic to beat away at my car while I watch helplessly.
Slip,
I'm considered, by some, to be "older and established" yet I still don't have cool power or pneumatic tools and a lift!
Anyone in the SF Bay Area,
I'm wanting to get my new shocks installed by this weekend or maybe as early as Friday or Thursday night. Originally, I'm planning to take my car in to Wheelworks or something but if anyone wants to help and has the tools and know how to do so I'd, certainly, make it worth their time/effort?

do you have a garage? I have my ae86 sittin' in my garage waiting for a rotary swap. I can bring my jack/stands/tools if you can provide the work area.
