330 miles to go. I'm thinking of going up to Carmel today, but I'm feeling Lazy. I think I'll wash and wax it, and also come up with escape routes around the complex when this little 5'1" Taiwanese comes after me with a machete' when she comes home next week.

Do you think she'll believe me if I say it's the 350z with a honda body kit?

I can always tell her that mysterious events happen when you leave your husband for almost two months--such as accidentally "slipping" and trading in a car.

Or keep it covered and only take it out when she's not looking. Whats the MPG look like on the 2000

Well, I'm at a quarter tank, and I've gone 280 miles. I was mostly driving up and down 280 at 50 to 60 mph in the slow lane--amazing how ******** still come and tailgate you in the slow lane. Break-in ends at 600 miles so I have about 320 miles to go. Damn dealer forgot to put one of the body kits. I have to figure out how it goes in.

It's on March 8. http://www.hotimportnights.com/home.asp

The more I read about this car, the more I regret buying it. It's suppose to be a collectors item, only 2000 made so I'm more like....go rent a garage, seal it and store it. I haven't pushed it yet since it's in the break-in period. The reviews are correct though--it drives like **** for commuting or just normal cruising. Its purely HWY35/9 or track car. The ride is about a 3 in the Cusco damping factor, after comparing with the RX-8.

I think you just have to get used to it. It's like all your 8's VS mine, Dick drove mine and was like... WOW... luxury suspension.

Maybe I'll ride with you on the next seven stock. I couldn't imagine 4 hours straight on the RX-8, but then again, wifey may want to go again.
She needs to learn a manual transmission.

Do you know of a good MR2 mechanic? There's lots of supercharged motors for that car.

Some suggestions off the top of my head:

1. Move funds to Swiss bank account or some other offshore account.
2. Don't go to sleep for the next month and a half.
3. Pray that she doesn't notice.
4. Buy her roses.

I am sure there are others.

Your setups feels smoother than stock, but I like feeling all those bumps in the road!

That plate is not taken, but I don't see too many people appreciating the humor.

180 miles to go.

This Saturday, i'm thinking we meet in San Mateo for an early dinner/late lunch, then go with Dick to get his back piece finished up in the city.
