Who was at the top of HWY 9, Saratoga area, last night? I saw a galaxy grey RX8 with RPF1 rims. I waved, but didn't see who it was. I was in the Honda S2000.

![Question](https://www.rx8club.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Ok i was thinking about getting new rims since mine are bent and so forth...
The question is the offset...
Current Wheel Specs Width 8 inches Offset 50 mm
New Wheel Specs Width 7.5 inches Offset 42mm
Inner Clearance: needs 14mm more
(the inside of the wheel to the strut housing)
Outer Position: needs 2mm more (position of the outside edge of the wheel)
Is there enough clearance for about half an inch on the inside of the wheel to the strut housing????

8 inch wide
It says you would need to add 15mm to both inside and outside more to verify it would fit..
If yours fits than what I am looking at will fit nicely.

Tony says, RX8s are GREAT
i run a 17 x 7.5 on my te-73, my offsets are perfect, ill have to read the sticker. but if you wanna see what it looks like just go to my site, the project rx8 is on there.
just run a 235/45/17....no larger then that, 245 is pushing it for a 7.5 for any kind of aggressive canyon driving.
but the car feels so much better now
