I'll be going there with my gf. I just bought the tickets today. I've never been to such an event before, any tips on what I should bring/do?

btw, It is Saturday 10 not 12.

I intend on going to, most likely Saturday to see the Le Mans Race in the afternoon. (Championship is going to be from 2:45pm-6:45pm)

You should bring a hat(sunglasses), sunscreen, plenty of water and be ready to climb a bit to go see the famous corkscrew.
Depending on how close your are going to be the track, ear plugs or some sort of noise protection.

Of course, don't forget your camera and video camera

North of the intersection of Cipriani and Ralston.

There are about 6 RX-8's in the vicinity (1 a white 2010) (^^)

Larson's Rotary in Antioch - http://www.larsonsrotary.com/index.php - Jeremy is a really good guy, he'll take extra special care of your car

Or theres Ben (Karack) Rotary Evolution in marysville, he can do ANYTHING you need, the only problem is he is constantly busy, so he's hard to get a hold of. - http://www.rx7club.com/member.php?u=39115 - not sure if he's on RX8 club or not

Paul at Rotorsport, but thats hardly close to you, still closer than Huntington Beach - http://www.rotorsport2.com/

Thats all I got

supercharger + 11.0 to 1 compression = less life than a turboed rotary

Sick ride, but it wont last...Unless you never boost, then whats the point?

EDIT: unless they built the internals up proper and have a 5 layer or better head gasket, then I could see it lasting, but, I would also assume he would try to sell for more than 35k -- hurting for money maybe?

So here's a test for everyone.

Someone comes up to you and says "I'll give you a billion dollars if you have sex with a gay man."

Are you going to be:
1) "Pitching"?
2) "Catching"?
