Damn,

**** Mazda huh? (and yes, I will delete this response when you decide to delete yours)

I would delete that if I were you. There are alot of people who are talking about that comment. Maybe if this was a honda forum or a nissan forum you might get away with that.

Mazda is one of the few companies that is still hard core in driving experience. You can't blame Mazda for some isolated events. Besides, we drive our cars hard as **** and expect them to last forever.

I'm done trolling.

Mazda used to be a good company. Now, they are just as bad, if not worse than any other car company. I think I have a bit more of an enlightened view as of recent than you do. Wait for your engine to go bad, I suggest you find a division that has a low engine replacement frequency, otherwise they'll **** you over just like they did to me

The saddest part of all is it took me a matter of seconds of searching on google to find a 20 page long complaint list of people getting effed by mazda. Isolated events? I dont think so.

You want to know why mazda issued that extended warranty? It certainly wasnt out of the good of their hearts. They did it as a political stance to defend themselves with should enough people get pissed and start a class action lawsuit.

These are not the traits and behaviors of a responsibly company. They issued a defective product, they should stay good on their end of the bargain.

Why the **** would I spend so much money on a car when I know most of it was for marketing and transportation? One word, the warranty. I wanted a rotary engined car with a warranty. What I got was a bloated sticker price, horrible depreciation, and a warranty that isnt worth ****. Who made out on this deal? it certainly wasnt me.

Yes I have all my documentation for records, yes I brought it into the dealership for all recalls. Everything they needed and more was provided. They still denied it.

Absolutely I can blame mazda for my "isolated event". Mazda will never get one dime from me again. I dont even think I'll ever buy a new car again, but if I do, I'll make sure it isnt a mazda. If you do research, you will find that in marketing, with the internet and tv and radio and newspapers, the number one ROI is word of mouth. I will make sure that my experience is known to all friends and family members.

I tried to be reasonable and not ask for the world. Mazda didnt give a **** and told me to kick rocks

**** Mazda

Troll all you want. When they "tried" to fix my transmission, the reverse is kind of fucked up now. Rotorsport found a bunch of metallic shavings when Paul serviced the transmission, and this is a month after MAZDA "tried" to fix my 2nd to 3rd grinding problem. The 2nd to 3rd problem has always existed and it just progressively got worst. I don't abuse the car. I've done every preventative maintanance religiously. I've tracked the S2000 more than the RX8--basically I havent taken the RX8 to the track, because when I was going to Thunderhill, the 2nd to 3rd was grinding every time. Well, I haven't had any problems on the S2000, and I abuse that car. What's fucked up about the repair is they also tried to **** me over on the warranty. I was about to dump 5k on a new transmimssion, 'till I found out about the other fella in this forum. So why should I spend any more money on this car? Tell me? Why? Why?

You don't know what the **** you're talking about.

Manual. I'm not sure yet. I'm buying a house when I get to Reno, so I may still get stuck with the RX8. Have you test driven one? Its a world of difference from the 350z.

You don't hate "mazda", you hate the corporate side of it like the rest of us. Don't forget about all those dedicated engineers and the true enthusiest that have worked their entire carrer to bring us great products.

I love the FD and FC, I am actually making a vmount kit for the FC as we speak to compliment my FD vmounts.

You should bring it to oak tree mazda, or we should take about taking care of your situation. I was sure that if you had insurance that they cover vandalism. Over the years, be affiliated with collision and auto repair shops, you see alot of things. I know this one situation where someone put sugar in someones gas tank and it ruined their engine, and the insurance covered the repair bill. I would imagine this could happen to a rotary engine.

I dealt with oak tree mazda, who did you deal with?

You don't know what the **** you're talking about.
I had the exact same issue and then my rear bearing retainer broke in the transmission. There is a design flaw in the 04 to 08 transmission. Oak tree Mazda replaced it for free with a used one, and yes they know I drive like a maniac. Also nothing is perfect. Yes there have been premature issues with the RX8 but still it is a good car. Yeah you can get more for your money elsewhere, z, evo, sti and such. Believe it or not, attitude and professionalism can get you alot further then you think.

Do you think that mazda and service reps know nothing about this forum and what people say. Just like tournapart states "ROI", how does mazda give better ROI, a better/extended warranty maybe? Still have to jump through hoops to quailfy.

So.. IB owns this forum. This forum is directly related to Mazda is it not. So it goes like this, if someone is seen as unprofessional and bashes other memebers they get warned and will eventually get banned if they dont stop with the attitude. That is why I was telling you that you should remove your comment.

Aslo when I responded to your first post I did not make it offensive or unprofessional.

Your comment "you don't know what the **** you're talking about" makes it offensive and unprofessional. I am a business owner that supports the rotary community and just because I am not an RX8 club vendor or a moderator does not give you the right to talk to me like that.

Do not make this personal, this is a forum for us to list problem and issues. Not to start fights and **** poeple off. Everyone just has to remember that some poeple are watching.

Just because I do not post things on here does not mean that I am an idiot.

So if I offened you I am sorry firstly. However, you do owe me an apology.

Another note.

You spend money on what you love. If you don't love it anymore then drop it.

Just like your cat, some people might think your crazy to drop some mad cash on a cat. I understand where your comming from because my mom has friggin 20+ house cats. I'm also a cat lover and jealous my wife brough home a damn dog. A little maltesse yapper. You wanna compare cost. I have documented proof they spend 15k a year for those cats. 15K a year!! Teeth cleanning, health issues, food, hospital bills. With 20+ cats, it has been clock work that one cat out of em will have to go to the vet for a major issue each year.

So thats it, if you love your rotary powered car, repair it. If your not in it for what the car represents for Mazda then ditch it.

The RX8 is all about the rotary, thats what it was made for, to bring back the rotary to american shores. (keep it alive else where).

Your either a rotary fan or not, thats the way it is.

And yes, I usually just troll around, it's beneficial at times.

Tournapart,

about ROI

Why do you think I am lagging on my RX8 products, I have been too busy with FC/FD stuff.

After the FC vmount is done, hopefully I'll have time to finish my s/c kit for the RX8.

Good luck on that one.

My original post was not directed at anyone on this forum. It was a gripe against a company. You made it personal on your orignal post by telling me "what to do" and acting like god almighty, and this post from you recently even makes it more personal.

Who said anything about hating rotary's?

Rob,

One day you will realize that when someone tells you something, it is not always to **** you off. I was trying to protect you from other people talking about your aggression on this thread lately.

Seriously, the two times I met you, you completely brushed me off when I tried to talk to you.

One time was at Mc Carthy Ranch and I offered to hook you and your friends up if you needed parts. You looked at me like I was a fool.

The other time was at some other meet.

If anyone here has any reason to dislike someone it should be me. Because I offer to help people when they are down and I try to save people money.

Your remark, the way you said it was offensive. But no problem, I see you are not interested in resolving this issue in a way to where as you would like to have something positve come out of it.

It's funny Rob, this situation.

I will simply smile and brush off your anger.

Ben

It looks like you already had a pre-determined dislike for me. You're the one that's pissed off and you're the one that created the issue. I could care less what you think after your responses.

What agression? The only agression i've seen lately is your response from my dislike of Mazda's business practice.

I didn't brush you off at MCarthy Ranch. That was kind of awkward actually. That was on an S2000 meet on a Friday, just after seven stock. You came out of nowhere if you don't recall. You stopped your car on front of the parked s2000's and tried to sollicit business. What the hell is that? You were not looking for the best interest of others. You were like a 20 dollar *****. I'm not trying to be personal. That's how you rubbed off on everyone at that meet when you stopped to solicit. I actually got flamed by everyone because of that. I found the situation CREEPY! Seriously dude, you were CREEPY!

Honestly, I don't have a grudge against you. I'm just not happy with Mazda after I found out about Zack.
