f that. im fighting this ticket. no radar, only dash cam of me slowing down to a stop light, as she was on an adjacent side street.. claimed i was going 55 in a 35.. i got lucky when i got pulled over doing 80+ and got let go.. im just having a stressful time thinking of what to do cuz if i dont win, i cant even go to traffic school since i tried to fight it, which that 1 point is on my public record, therefore my insurance will see it and make my premium go way up, as brought out by my dad, and with my job, i believe it is 3 points and im out, as driving a work truck is required 3 of my 5 work days, so i get 3 points and they take my license or something, which i need for work.. as they are definitely not going to let an unlicensed person operate their vehicles, so then i lose my job and then my life will just go in the crapper. anyways, screw you california if you screw my life over cuz your female officer guesstimated that i was going 20 over. BS.

my completely clean driving record wont even do anything for me anyways. stupid young driver stereotypes.. i need to sleep this crap off

thanks man. yeah i just wanted to wait till 11 so i can collect my daily Gran Turismo 5 bonus for tomorrow so i dont have to get on tomorrow.. although my dad is no help with this, mainly because he believes that the courts have all the power and blah blah blah and he didnt win because he tried to fight it when a cop got the guy in front of him on radar, so they were going the same speed.. but that was evidence right there.. and my brother got caught drifting in the rain around a sweeper by my house.. and he lost too.. dunno how. idk im just getting vibes from him that says that the court always wins and takes your money, which defeats the purpose of having a court and a chance to fight it.... anyways.. i'll be bock

I thought the law was changed such that you can still do traffic school after fighting the ticket now. Tried to quickly find a reference but could not but I am pretty sure of this, you have to search around.

Also, you can fight the ticket by mail if you want.

Well, I get most of my info from my brother in law whom is a tow truck driver who is more familiar with anything in regards of the law, and he said that if I fight it and lose, then I cant go to traffic school.. But if i got another ticket in the next month, i could take traffic school for that point.
Also my mom pointed out on the paper: "Referral to Traffic School after trial is at the discretion of the Judicial Officer."
So they'll decide if I in fact dont win..

And I'm talking to my in law again soon because he said I can just send it back in, and I asked if I have to send in bail or not, and he said no. My mom saw on the paper that to not send them bail, I got to go see the clerk and schedule a court date.. So I need that resolved

and IDK how you figure you can fight it by mail, unless you just say screw it and send it back with the contest citation checked and attach a note that says f u i'm not paying this.. I'd do that, but I dont need the police coming to my door

oh and my dad told me to not forget to wear a suit and tie.. really? how often do people go to court in that for a speeding ticket?

major major BULLSHIT
I go in person to the courthouse to set a trial date so I don't have to send a bail to them with my notice, and its pretty quick, go in go back out... Cop standing by my car writing down on his little ticket thing... He was going to give me a fix it ticket for no front plates and my front tint.. $25 each.. But hes taking my word on it and didnt give me one... But still gave me a parking ticket for being parked backwards, cuz their stupid ******* sign at the entrance when you come in says in very fine print along with other things that you wont have time to stop for and read when pulling in, says no backing in spots.. so Im SOL there, wtf thats what i get for having a yellow RX8 in their parking lot with my stuff on and not on it? F me my first parking ticket is a retarded one wtf

all I can say is I live in a super gay state.

I'm going to move to alaska and live in the woods in a cabin where they'll never bother me again

I'll live off of raccoons and squirrels, and the occasional bear

well all i can say about your parking ticket is if you dont have front plates then you prob shouldnt back into a spot. its usually a bad idea anywhere. I usually back into a spot too but i end up putting my plates on . theyre off now so i dont take chances. dont want anymore tickets or any more expenses. still gotta pay for a new cat. ;[

although i went to autozone today.. couldnt find these so called custom brackets that go under our undertray.. so i asked my dad if he can make me a custom one, probably pointed toward the ground 30% roughly, give or take

So my father got hit on his motorcycle (Honda ST1300) on the freeway this morning on his way to work.
My mom told me he told her that he was 1 lane over from the carpool lane and that a car was stopped in the carpool lane and a car switched lanes in front of them, but the truck next to him wasnt paying attention and swerved into my dad.

He did fall, and scraped the new exhaust he replaced when it got scraped when he laid the bike down when he first got it a while back.

He also said he felt his back tweak and that it hurts now.
I hope our insurance gets every dollar out of him. It's not fair to motorcyclists that others cant drive when they get hit. Poor old man, I'm afraid of what all the damage was

well he works like 7 or 8 am till he gets home at around 4 pm, and i have work at 3 pm.. so i might stop by in the work truck later tonight.. theres been some hoodlum gangster wannabe retards stirring up trouble at the middle school. i dont have a club or mace or anything.. i didnt sign up for hand to hand combat..

oh and it wouldnt be my money, it'd be his.. and my dad is almost 60, so stuff like this would affect his body more than a kid like me, so he might actually need to spend it all!
