I do agree with an east bay meet, it never happens...
I heard he was coming back, but you know what, because I've heard 2 different stories, I'm calling shenanigans. We need someone that knows how to organize and can make every meet happen, even if something comes up, like his wife has a child or something, he'll bring the baby out with him Unless he gets into some gnarly crash and breaks both his legs, then thats understandable

Someone make this a weekly thing, I enjoy spending time with the rotary folk, I dont wanna be pushed into the Honda group, with all their $1.5k JDM front end conversions that make their 3rd gen Integra look like a 2nd gen Integra, IMO. What a waste of money. I like the bug eye look

If anyone is close to SSF and just wants to hang out

I am very new to the area. I would love to get involved in the club but could also use some friends close by. Does any one have any info on how HKS parts rank with the RX8? Also could I just swap out the rear tail lights for a newer year with the better gaskets? My drivers side was filled about an inch at one point.

thats one hell of a fish tank O.O if by your post you mean you want to upgrade to the 2nd gen tails that are LED, they should fit. I cant confirm this.. I'd say just buy a gasket and call it a day because those OEM tails cost $$$

Your best bet would be to drill a 1/16 or 1/32 hole at the low spot of the clear plastic so it can drain. You could buy them again but its just not worth it

HKS makes some decent things for the RX8, but they are kind of overpriced, lots of other good brands out there

what are you looking for?

Welcome to the club.
Tail light gaskets are cheaper....

I was looking into the new tail lights they look a slight different shape.

But you can add LED lights to anything...

I know how you feel zach... what am i getting in... i just got in the mazdaspeed flywheel, the mazdaspeed excedy clutch will be coming in soon, new motor mounts, new RE water pump and thermostat, RE oil pressure kit and that's it i believe. Getting these installed with the new motor im getting from mazda.

I still got sway bars ive been too lazy to install, AFE SS still in my garage, my BHR ignition kit i uninstalled for when i brought my car to mazda and this voltage kit thingy. :P

We're becoming like women.... instead of clothes and accessories, we buy parts for our cars.. way more expensive some times...

Which seibon hood you got?

And I'm gonna be paying for some body work as my car was involved in a hit and run and the person who hit me damaged my rear bumper and rear quarter panel. No bueno.. Scratched my rim too

Yes I can help. My taillight bulbs should be the same as yours hopefully, then you can just test my LEDs on yours. I dont have my RX8 anymore, I have a 95 Integra now, but its pretty universal when it comes to headlight and taillight bulb sizes.

But just let me know, PM I guess. My best free day is Wednesday

Someone who does have LED bulbs on his 8 would be Laythor, but I know how busy he gets

BBQ/Cruise Planning

Gonna plan a cruise/bbq for the bay area rotaries sometime near the end of june or early august. If you want something bigger, I'll start prepping for a huge meet in August similar to the first Treasure Island Rotary Meet I helped plan years back. Give me your thoughts here or PM me and I'll take your suggestions in to consideration
