I would definitely make a socal trip for tuning. I don't think there are a lot of active s2 tuners here in the bay area. If there are, i don't know what kind of experience they have as well.

Thanks for the feedback Mazdaspeed. Do you know any tuning shops down there? Or maybe I will ping the Socal guys... Since I will be using a new tuning platform, I want the best tuner that isn't afraid to use these new options...

I'm loving my Rx-8 more and more everyday. Learning something new each time I get behind the wheel. I'm pretty grateful for this site and for the knowledge a lot of the experienced drivers share. There are only 3 rx8's in my town, so there isn't much of a "local community" here, but I am going to keep trying to find some enthusiasts

Hey Izzy, i currently do not have those items or i do and they are on the car :P you wont have trouble finding the ms cai ,the ms body kit on the other hand is a different story, it is discontinued and it'll be very hard to find authentic ones on the market. with everything else, definitely shop in the FS section here and you'll find a lot of awesome things.

Update Pics
Here are those updated pictures. I have only had the vehicle for 2 months. Let me know what you think!
I also installed a Blue AEM CAI yesterday (about 30 mins to do). I love the sound when putting the pedal to the floor. If you are thinking about getting a good sounding CAI, AEM is wonderful.
If anyone lives in the Modesto area, let me know! Would like to meet some local Rx8 owners.

If you want to be slammed to the ground the BC Racings go pretty damn low.
If you want it to handle and be useful for the track, the KW's are the way to go. thewy are pricey but god are they good. I have had mine for almost 5 months and they are amazing in every single way. But they dont go super low by design.

Yup, depends on what you want to do to your car, i have HKS Hipermaxx's RS, decent DD, a little rough but handles great especially on the track. If price doesn't matter, i recommend Tein Flex's with the adjustable dampening controller, great coilovers but pricey. BC does go really low but i don't recommend them for quality reason's unless you're just a regular street car with some spirited driving but no track days or anything. H$R Coilovers are decent, Eibach made the Mazdaspeed Coilovers, you got many options, just depends on need.
