Last night I went to the "infamous" In-N-Out bring what you got type of deal, here in Turlock, Ca. Sad to say I haven't been to one in three years when I had a Integra. As I was walking down the isles I saw the expected, Hondas Ford Acura Subaru Mitsubishi and Miatas, not Mazda"s", just Miatas. It then hit me that there needed to be an actually cool car in the mix. So I brought my 8.
I was 1 of 2 there, the other one being a 06 GT completely stock and who said he liked it but is trading it for a truck (I got sad). If there are any 8's out there, I would like to extend my hand to you and invite you to show up.
The funny part was they were asking me if it was a V6 or V8. I realize now how ignorant people are yo learning about different engines.

Possibly, currently I am in Hawaii for work (yes it's still work) and won't be back until the first week of February but we could definitely work something out. What color is your 8? I'm wondering if I've seen it around.

REGISTER, BEGINNING JUDGING, PARTY
WHERE: MARQUEE PARKING LOT OF THE SUNCOAST HOTEL & CASINO (BY THE BIG SIGN)
TIME FOR REGISTERING: 3PM UNTIL 11PM IN THE MARQUEE LOT OR AT THE PARTY
EARLY CAR JUDGING WILL TAKE PLACE FROM 3PM UNTIL DARK. If your planning on partying on Friday evening, it may be a good idea to get your car judged early as the judging time on Saturday will be limited. There will be several categories depending upon the cars registered prior to the event. Repus, old school, 7's and 8's will be judged separately. 7s may be broken up into fist, second and third gen vehicles if preregistration shows a sufficient. All registered rotary vehicles will be eligible for trophies.
CARS AND TRAILERS CAN BE LEFT IN THE LOT OVERNIGHT - SECURITY WILL KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON THE AREA
FRIDAY EVENING PARTY AND CONTINUING REGISTRATION 8PM UNTIL 12PM
BYOB ON ALCOHOLIC DRINKS. HORDERVES, CHIPS, NUTS AND DIP BY WHiV7
PARTY LOCATION WILL BE ON THE FIFTH FLOOR OF THE HOTEL, AT THE WEST END OF THE HALL

You may be right about being a rare sighted LY in the Modesto Area. So far I've spotted a dozen SS, two SS and one BB but no LY. Ive wanted to check one out, hopefully we can set up a meet up when I'm back in the 209.

it's a lightning yellow 8 with a punisher decal on the back.To my knowledge the only LY Rx8 in the Modesto area.

Lmao I was working Security there until September 2013, ohhhh what a crappy job. Now I'm a Telecommunications Technician Journeyman for a private Department. Which means lots of Rx8 spending money. I should be back around Feb 7th. We can do a mini photo shoot
