I have the firestone alignment plan, and yes it can be used anywhere. I got mine for $140. I'll get more information when I can, but the guy said that the drop is .05"-1.75" but I go on tokico's site and they say 1.25". So, I emailed him again and am trying to get a real answer. But it seems like i'll get the RB springs ($200) first with the stocks and when some money is saved up, I'll get the D-Specs, $500 more is gonna take awhile saave up after all these mods of mine. I'll take a look at RB's Rx-8 while I'm in LA to see what the drop looks like.

If anyone is interested, I live in the Napa Valley, and my friends and I have informal touge runs just about every weekend. There are roads all over the place here, so if you're looking for some fun twisties, hit me up and I'll tell you where to meet us.

Anyone know the address of a Firestone place in South San Jose?

Racing beat is running on their springs and D-specs. Racing beat can get the D-Specs for $600, I found a guy who sells them for $500 does anyone want to hop in the band wagon? I'll talk to him to to see if we can get more of a discount.

Sorry David, but this month I'm probably getting the Advan Neova AD07s (maybe?) and possibly the Mazsport fan mod. If you want to make a grounding kit though I wouldn't mind getting in on the action, but I can tell you I won't be of much help even for something as simple as selecting wires.

Tein Coilovers
Anyone know anything about the Tein Flex or Monotube coilovers? I was looking at those for my next major upgrade. I hope to be able to switch between Touge and Track settings, is that possible?

You might already know this but the difference between linear and progressive is on linear springs, the stiffnes of the springs is consistent all through out the coils and progressive coils get stiffer as you compress it. GF210 drops the car about F1.4"/R1.2" and RB is .5" drop all the way around but with stiffer spring rates. I think RB designed their springs like that to utilize the shock's optimal travel. If you just want to drop it without sarificing or changing the spring rates, NF210 would be ideal for you

At this point I am thinking GF210 just for the progressive, so the full spring rate is there when I am pushing it and need it. thanks for the info.

That's pretty close to Racing Beat's values so the ride shouldn't degrade that much. As long as they have their damping figured out, it won't ride the bumpstops, but if they screw up on the damping then it's bumpstop city. However, this is Tokico so I'm sure it'll be fine.

Thanks.
He's located in San Bruno and I've had 3 cars tinted by him. All 3m, all guaranteed for life and satisfaction. Ask for Douglas.

hey guys... ruptured one of my tires... my tmps has been acting up and i found out that my driver side front tire got a hole in them.... can't get them patched up because my tires are almost bald. So all i can do is pump air in to them and not mash in them... well driving on the freeway last night coming home from work, my tire ruptured on the freeway causing me too spin out. I wasn't hurt luckily and neither was anyone else on the freeway. I tried calling Adam and Zach but they didn't pick up... i luckily called the 24hour roadside assistance from mazda and they picked up my car and me and brought me home. Well, anyways, a good friend of mine got a hold of some 8 wheels and tires for his mazda 3 and he's letting me borrow one for the time being... Well, a lovely weekend for me... currently searching for tires for a great deal and i'm not going to half *** wasting money on buying some stock tires... so thats my weekend.... hope you guys had fun at the meet.

Good thing you're safe. Last time I saw you I thought you said your tires were at half life, they should've still been good. If you want some used Dunlops to get you through, I might have a set coming available in the next week or two.

Sorry to hear that bud. Just an FYI, you should settle for some tires local, shipping tires is a bitch. Go and get some ES-100's, they're about $137 each if you are low on cash. You should have changed your tires a lot sooner if they were that bad. Its not worth wrecking your car for just $800.
