Jon, too bad no one else has a blue 8 here locally. Who knows I might buy it if the price is right.

Actually, I wouldn't mind having a Mazdaspeed front. $120!!!!
(edit) Oh, and my current front bumper was mildly damaged in a low-speed accident. It's repairable, but it's not perfect still. I'm too miserly to pay for a new Mazdaspeed front when my current bumper looks perfect to non-RX8 drivers. I really wouldn't minding having the bumper replaced though =D

Yeah, I decided to order shorter main springs and add helper springs to make sure they stay seated at full suspension droop. It's kind of a bummer that I have to remove/reinstall the Motons, but I want to do things right. I'm a little concerned a 6" spring will be too short up front, but Eibach doesn't make a 7" 700 lbs spring. [shrug] We'll see how well that works.
Finding time to remove/reinstall the shocks will be a little tricky. Christine gave birth last Wednesday so I'll have to squeeze all this work in-between taking care of her and the newborn. Oh wait--what kind of news were you asking about?

I don't know my %. There were 4 level of tint at that shop. The darkest is limo, I got one down from that for the rears and two down from limo for the sides.
Well... I hope there are no police officers reading this... I keep the plate in my passenger pocket thing. I tell them, "that I got in a fender bender and here is the plate. They replaced the bumper but the bumper didn't come with the licence plate frame. So I am ordering it and it'll be in soon." hehehe.. worked both times . FYI one of the times I was in Emeryville.

So probably 20% or 38%(looks like a 38 to me) opacity on the front two windows and 5-15% opacity in the rear

Thanks for your help 8rotor8.
I'm thinking 20% all the way around or 35% all the way around.
I want it dark, but not too dark that backing up and driving around at night is dangerous.

I would really suggest going with lighter on the two front windows and darker on the back so it looks more like you only have the back windows tinted

All depends on what you want more
you looking at your car
or cops looking at your car, because most cops that will take the time to look for crap like that are usually dicks
