Well i picked up a greddy turbo and am just going to go with Scotts upgrades. I was actually going to install the HKS ignition setup but Scott suggested i should wait about a month for the release of some coils hes been working up. So right now im just waiting for the gauges i just bought off shinka, my greddy oil pan and catch can, the upgraded couplers and RP supercat. then pretty much its all the basics from there. unfortunately im going to have to run the emanage for a while until I can rustle up an extra 1400 for the mazsport interceptor w/ scotts base maps.

To be continued..

What insurance are you using? Funny enough, when my car got hit Geico quoted the car right away and authorized the work immediately. They treated me pretty well even though I was expecting to fight because of all the horror stories of Geico. They even dropped off another check without fuss when I said I wanted a new tire (they priced it at $550 for a new wheel and $300+ for a new OE Dunlop).

I'd be a little suspicious of your bodyshop at the moment. Which shop are you using? The insurance shouldn't need to authorize the work as you're free under law to use any shop you want. Perhaps a switch of shops is in order? I used Livermore Collision and it was a great experience; the owner was knowledgeable and really liked what he did. They even admitted to me that they found a new scratch on my car when I went to pick it up and that they'd fix it when I bring it back. I've never had a shop admit to me that they damaged anything without me first pointing it out to them.

Esurance wants the 1/4panel replaced but the shop doesn't think it's necessary so I guess they're fighting over that or something. I have no clue. I gotta stop by there and ask them what's up.

If the insurance is paying for it it don't matter what the bodyshop says. If its getting paid for then they should do it. Seems to me that the bodyshop can't get the part or the part is more expensive than they quoted and are trying to get out of purchasing it. Insurance companies want you back in your car as soon as possible because you will be getting a review in the mail right after. You should tell the bodyshop that you want it fixed now because you are the one being inconvienanced while they argue over somthing so stupid.

Bastards didn't miss me at all!!! hahaha, jk! i'll be back the friday, maybe we'll go to fuddruckers, it seems like some are getting tired of sushi. I'm glad all of us are having fun at the meets and glad to see we're getting larger. Now let's start to talk about the BBQ again. let's have our firts Master Bay 8's BBQ either July first (pre july 4th) of we can make it the 8th. Let me know what you guys think, and I'll see if we need to reserve a picnic site at lake elizabeth.

Anyone know of a good shop to get alignment done at? I'd prefer Berkeley/Hayward/San Mateo or anywhere in between.

motorsport techniques in hayward. it's on winton ave. (west winton). they specialize on imports. i think i paid $90 last time i got my previous car, rsx type s, aligned and they were able to get close to specs eventhough my car was slammed. (510) 783-8383 1410 W Winton Ave, Hayward, CA.

Speed Inn in Hayward does an awesome job, but is rather pricey. I paid $150 for mine, but they're willing to talk over the settings with you and tailor it to your needs and do an absolute bang on job equalizing side to side. For someone like me, that's very valuable.
