Notes: Hey everyone, wanted to get another meet going now that the rain has hopefully steadied out and it is a wee bit warmer than the last meet i set up. Let's get some burgers, hang out and maybe do some mock racing at Irace Center. After the meet, we can go on a little cruise through Caleveras and maybe end our night at Tapioca Express in Union City. I want to revive the NorCal Mazda group so i'll be inviting a whole bunch of groups to this meet like RX8club, RX7club, 7tuned, Mazda6club and MOCC. Please feel free to invite other fellow Mazda owners out as well. Hope to see everyone there!

 

New owner.. Looking to get out there at a meet. Can any 8 owner come to em or what's up with that. Had my 8 for about 2 months

 

I'm looking to meet owners too but I've never been, but the last 2 sentences under Notes would confirm that anyone can go. I would love to go but it's too far and such short notice (I just got my 8 a few days ago).

 

Ya I'm originally from the bay area but I'm out in the Santa Cruz Watsonville area now.. But if I can get off early enough I wud make the trip with my girl.. Love my car. Its my BABY

 

Junkie and thad, yes 8 owners are welcome to all these meets. There's the a couple of meets happening this month. There's one on the 15th in Fremont at the In N Out in the Pacific Commons Shopping Center and another on the 22nd in Japantown in San Francisco.

Yup, if you come to the In N Out meet, i probably will be bringing the FD out and not the 8. I'm not sure but is the NCRG on facebook lead by Zach? I'm glad he is keeping the group alive.

 

Zach recently moved to Arizona but he's still involved. It's Grace who's been setting up the meets lately.

 

Dang, kinda sucks, i don't know grace so there is no point for me to try to merge the group back together.

 

Any 8's going to come out to this?

Nice, i miss seeing the 8's around. I'll probably be taking the FD out to this one, the 8 will be getting a new motor in the near future but right now, losing compression in the rear rotor.

 

I'm trying to sort out an exhaust rattle. If I fix it before next weekend, I'll make it for sure.

:P FD is pretty much stock, nothing too impressive, just has racing beat springs, racing beat front sway, JDM tails and that's it. I got a lot of stuff laying around though like the bi-xenon headlights, RZ/Spirit R brakes, Advox Coilovers.. just going to save up for some wheels then 99 spec front bumper, side and wing.

 

I think you should take a page out of Rxnincj's playbook and call out sick that day.

I too would love to see your FD. 11k miles on it is impressive! It also looks like a there will be a couple of 7's from NCRG at the meet on the 15th.
