CA Bay Area paint job recommendations

Hi all,

So the title kinda says it all. Thinking about getting my car repainted. It's got some scratches and it was repainted by the previous owner but not very well. Looking for some local recommended shops for a paint job. Needs to be sanded down and repainted. Preferably not TOO pricey but I do understand you get what you pay for. To sum it up I want a quality paint job for a fair price.

Maaco is out of the question for obvious reasons haha

Let me know.

1k for a good paint job isn't realistic...There are way too many factors...My NG paint alone costs $160/pint...Not sure how much yours is...But between your paint, clearcoat, and every other chemical that's going to be used, plus the cost of labor, I would say you're looking around at least 2k for a decent-good paint job for your whole car.

The labor is obviously what's going to cost the most, and for a good reason...A good paint job is a very slow process...It took me all day to paint eyelids and mud guards (which only came out decent because I used a crappy clearcoat)...I can't even imagine how long a whole car would take.

I can't help you with a location seeing as i'm nowhere near you...just thought I would throw that in.
