Browning Mazda in Cerritos

Just wondering if anyone has dealt with Browning Mazda in Cerritos and what you guys though of the dealership? I am considering taking a job there but want to maybe get a feel for what any of you guys think about the place.

I bought mine from there too. It was OK, it took a lot longer than I wanted it to.

I live in Cerritos, and didn't buy it there only because the 2 dealers that 'helped' me out was pushing me to buy their demo car.. which I had no interest. Then they treated me like an idiot when I tried to correct them everytime they said.. "You'll love this 250hp car".. when this was in early November. Oh wells... I went to other dealerships.

i got mine there...

a couple of the guys there were good when i went in late november. knew the stuff about the car. They showed me the back lots to see if i liked any of the ones there. Once i did find the car(couple weeks later) went back and did all the negotitation.. typical practices.. waiting games.. gotta ask the supervisor.. But what really ticked me off was the wait i had going into financing...

but hey I am happy with my car..

Funny you should mention having to wait a long time to get into finance as thats what I do and would be doing there. Maybe they have been a man short in the finance department for awhile Well if I get the job then someone who really knows rotaries will be handling your paperwork

Can't say a thing about Browning since I drove clear out to Norco to close the deal on mine, but from the viewpoint of consumers like us, it never hurts to add a knowledgable enthisiast to the staff of a dealership. Whether or not such a person would be a good fit at a particular dealership is a whole 'nother question. Rather than asking us, you maybe ought to be asking the people who run Browning Mazda?

As a general observation, most automobile sales people might as well be selling toasters for all they know about the particular cars they're representing. And that's a leadership/philosophy issue at the dealer leel.

Hello. Yes i work at Browning Mazda in Cerritos. been here 5 years. I am very happy working here. It is a great place to work, imo. plus being an 8 owner i get all the latest news, (almost as fast as the forum members, though i think the forum is a little faster on some things). plus we have a couple well trained rotary techs, we have 3 techs that even own rx7 and have been working on rotaries for years. feel free to Im me I will answer any questions you have.

Hey, am I the only one that hasn't really seen any RX8 on the streets? I mean seriously, I've only seen about 5 so far, and 3 times are from the same person (he works right next to me). I take my car to work; I drive everywhere in LA and OC, am I just missing everyone by chance... hrmm???

Anyway, if any of you sees a Red 8 w/full MS Kit, lowered w/Volk GT7, w/CHASTHS license plate, thats' me. I usually travel on 5 and all over Cerritos.
