I visit the 626 every week, but live in the 562. I got mine at Galpin, ask for Philip the Internet sales, got a great price on it, no hassle.

I second that, don't buy from Tustin, I talked to the Fleet manager there and he was quite pushy, and couldn't work below the sticker price less than $500 even after I visited in person. This was just 3 weeks ago, and when I called later that week telling him that I got an quote from Claremont and Galpin, he told me those quotes are impossible, and that I shouldn't waste my time coming back to their store. Guess what, I got my car at Galpin only because it was closer to me and I couldn't wait anymore, but Claremont FM quote was just as good.

they aren't the nicest
but I had a nice sales rep

But tustin was the only dealer willing to help me
I started looking for a rx8 in July and all the dealers told me good luck maybe you'll get one by november

but tustin got me a rx8 by July 27th

 

It's true, different sales rep, different attitude. My experience was directly towards the FM/Internet Sales. I contacted about 19 dealerships in SoCal, and some of the more polite and helpful were the Irvine (Fung), Galpin (Philip), Claremont (Toreno), and even a sales rep in Norco was quite nice.

Interesting. So the guy at Galpin I named Jack I talked to in October isn't really the fleet/internet sales manager?

Did he lie to me? Or does Galpin have separate fleet and internet managers?

 

Personally I didn't go through a guy name Jack, since I have no idea who that is.... I only dealt with Philip and Ali <the Manager there> and that's about it. Both very accomadating, and heck, I was sent a tin cookie thing from the mail this week 1 week after purchasing the car. It doesn't hurt that it was included the the satisfactory card.. which I gave all high marks

 

Sounds about right. The moron didn't call me back for some info he said he would check up on. So I drove all the way over there and he was standing on the lot. Managers do not stand on the lot. I thought he was just catching a breather outside. I think he's a salesperson and lied to me. That Jack guy is a waste of human resources. He wouldn't go very low on the car and gave me his story of "you get what you pay for." Knucklehead. Seems to me, either way I get an RX8.
