Calling HKS Hi-Power Owners around the San Gabriel Valley...
To those who have an HKS Hi-Power unit...
Well, I've heard the soundclips on youtube and some are either extremely low, throaty, and masculine... and others sound like a low-displacement sports bike. Not saying that sports bikes sound bad or anything... I just don't know what I'm expecting.
I was wondering if I could drop by someone's house to hear the exhaust in person. If you have a midpipe installed as well, EVEN BETTER. I'd like to hear a broad range of midpipe+HKS combos as well.
Let me know guys! I'll simply drop by whenever you guys aren't busy and it shouldn't take any longer than five minutes or so! Thanks! =]

i have HKS hi power with an AP dual res mp...it sounds great. still deep, just really, really loud!!
too abd i'm in the OC. with my setup its real deep up until 4k then theres a bit of a rasp up until past 5k rpm, then it just gets reallly loud.
anyways hit up gr8bullet he's in the valley and he has the same set up as me.
anyways, i think its one of the best sounding exhausts its just single tip, which is a bit of a bummer.
anyways, with the stock cat it still great sounding exhaust. its real deep, and really throughty, not much rasp. but it reallly wakes up when you hop on the go fast pedal.

Thanks for the input! I'll wait for a few members to chime in at their own will. I feel weird randomly contacting someone just to check out their exhaust.
As for the drone, I'm hoping there's a midpipe+HKS combo that doesn't produce any. I HATE drone. Loud exhausts are okay but as soon as there's drone/rasp I go nuts. I know the rotary is raspy by nature but I think there's an exhaust setup that can do away with it.
