Any possible way his insurance can cover it at all, or your insurance? This is the exact same reason why I won't let my brother borrow my car without me at all. I'm hoping for the best for you John! Get that bad boy fixed out of critical condition!

I looked over the damage outside and I'm not so sure if there's frame damage or not. If you look at this picture...
The fender's crushed all the way in. Also, it moved the strut bar a bit, wouldn't that effect the frame on the other side of the car as well? So does that means that there's frame damage?

and it doesn't matter how good of a friend he is to you, make HIS insurance pay for EVERYTHING. he needs to be taught a lesson, and if wasn't your fault it got crashed, so yeah...again im sorry

Yeah there's for sure some frame damage. Especially noticing your strut tower was moved. *sigh* I'm sorry john but your friend should be taking care of this entirely for you. I wouldn't even let him meet me half way, make his insurance cover it all!

Well, I just got back from his place. Luckily, we sat down and had a long discussion... man the tension over his dining table was insane. We called the HIS insurance company and they decided to pay for my damage. So basically, his insurance company is going to cover everything... now, unfortunately his insurance company does not provide me with a rental and I'm afraid to drive my other car (240SX with an RB20 Swap) since it's super unreliable...
How bad would a car be with some frame damage? I know the structural rigidity of the car will go down but how much? I don't really track the car (Once in a year for fun or so) and it's mostly used as a daily driver.
