Crashed car on freeway!!!
My gf was driving since I had 3 beers anyway we were coming up the ramp from Victoria gardens by Ontario mills and as soon as I told my gf to be careful cuz the tires might slip ( it was raining) we spun and hit the guard rail w my front bumper then we slid again hitting my rear so now we were facing the on coming cars and it was about midnight and my ****#%* car wouldn't start so I grabbed my gf and ran too the dirt cuz cars were almost hitting us the good thing was we weren't in the carpool lane cuz if we were we would have been screwed. There was a bunch of car parts on the floor and but mist weren't mine so we might have hit one if those and made us spin out of control cuz there was a big aluminum pipe that was flat behind my car.I'll post pics up later 
I know juansito another member had his car totalled and the pic I saw didn't look ad bad as mine so my car might be totalled too by the way hope you get well soon juansito.

dannobre is correct in that the car did exactly what it was supposed to do (protect you) and from the looks of it, it'll be damaged.
I hope you and your GF are alright but people in CA REALLY need to learn how to drive in the rain.
I'm not trying to kick you while you're down but I see far too much of this at the slightest hint of rain.

dannobre is correct in that the car did exactly what it was supposed to do (protect you) and from the looks of it, it'll be damaged.
I hope you and your GF are alright but people in CA REALLY need to learn how to drive in the rain.
I'm not trying to kick you while you're down but I see far too much of this at the slightest hint of rain.

ah dude, thats awful, im so sorry. I got in a car accident last night in my friends Z, spun out getting on the toll road and hit a wall, totaled his Z :/

I wasn't driving, he was. I guess I phrased that wrong. He didn't do anything wrong, it's just a heavily modded Z making 300whp, so it tends to not get much traction. Thanks ********

zach, sorry if it sounded harsh but if he lost control it's because he was driving too fast or his throttle control isn't as good as he thinks (ie; gave too much gas when he shouldn't have, tires spun, he went into wall)

There's no doubt he gave it a little too much throttle. But granted, it's A LOT easier to spin a Nismo 350Z then an RX8. So yeah, maybe I sugarcoated saying he didn't do ANYTHING wrong, but once the car lost traction there wasn't really anything he could do. It fishtailed one way and then the other, then spun in a 180 and we slammed into a wall. It was ridiculously scary. But I wouldn't call him an idiot for it happening. No need to immediately be a dick about it, that's all I was saying.

but it seems like "spinning out" in LA in the rain is "the thing to do". Nearly every accident in the fall I have seen out of Socal is spinning out in the rain, normally due to bald tires. I guess with little inclement weather, you tend not to check your tires often enough or put off replacing them when you need to? And lack of DSC as well I guess, either base model or turning it off deliberately. Even bald tires, the DSC can save you really easily.
Again, glad your ok, just 'spinning out in the rain' strikes me as a bit too common in one of the worlds best handling cars with backup safety devices to boot...
