some people run w/out undertrays for a while but there have been some nightmares (ie. j03ykillar) where a piece of a busted tire flew up under the car n' destroyed his radiator.

currently - my undertray looks like it got shot n' it's currently being held on by zipties some grommets n' hope.

Another thing that's been pissing me off: My battery is committing suicide so I'm getting a new one. I want the Optima Red Top. I've read ALL the threads about it. ONE QUESTION. Is there a 35R, or does the regular 35 fit without mods? Some say yes, some say no, so what do you guys think? Optimabattery.com doesn't even list a 35R so I think ppl are getting confused

So much win. Lol 35 it is. I need to change out the terminals anyways. How easy is replacing those wires?

So I ended up finding these Odyssey batteries and I like! Do you guys think this is simple or difficult to do?

http://www.modified.com/projectcars/...x-8/index.html

If it's realistic I'd MUCH rather have the battery in the trunk

actually my undertray was destroyed by the tire. the radiator was destroyed by a peace of metal that was bouncing around on the freeway and i was unlucky enough to hit it.

there is a 35r, asking me how i know. the battery is not as tall but its out there. the problem is the company was sold, so the batteries dont last as long as they use to. my red top has been in my car for over four years and its still going strong.

Yea I read about that, so i'm going with the Odyssey battery because all I hear are good things. Already ordered it, and the terminals are on the right side, it seems. If not, like Attila said, we'll just MAKE it fit.

I read that the PC680 wasnt all that powerful so I bought the PC1400.....also, the PC1400 is a group 35 size. Thanks though. I'll probably mount it in the trunk, meaning either shopping for a mount online or making one for the size I bought

How was the setup moving it to the back? There's a diy on modified.com but was it easy for ya, time-intensive? Seems like a great idea tho, and frees up room for the radiator to breathe

The riverside guys are throwin' a mini-beach cruise this saturday. If we're down to do this - i say we hit up the beach cruise first then we can start wrenching.
