Dyno day 9-6-08 Murrieta/Socal

$50 for 3 pulls on a dynojet (AWD available)

http://www.socal-racing.com/showthread.php?t=1733
Speed Factory & Dyno
41558 Eastman Drive, Suite C
Murrieta, CA 92562

This is being put on by the people who do POWERTV ( http://www.powertvonline.com/user_la...php?reset=true ) I stopped by their last dyno day to check things out and I have to say this is a great group of people with a nice facility. The people were cool, and showed great respect for the vehicles.

Three pulls with AFR logging is only $50 and takes about 30-40 minutes. If we get 10 people or more to sign up soon, we can have the whole day to ourselves. (although it is nice to mix it up and see an old muscle car in there too)
Doughnuts for breakfast and pizza for lunch and we also plan on having a BBQ there, so bring your BBQ goodies and some sodas.

We are trying to make arrangements to have our tuner there as well. This would require a full hour of dyno time (2 time slots) and a few bucks for the tuners time. I will update this thread once we get confirmation of his availability.

But for now . . . . . . it is time to hit the dyno again. Get your fresh numbers for SSXI.

How do I pay?
(from their site)

Dyno Days – 3 Runs! - $50!*

Although pre-registration is not required, it is highly recommended to reserve your time slot. We can run approximately 20 Vehicles per day. *$50 if pre-registered, $75 if paid on-site.

This is pretty much just a dyno day.
We may have a tuner there, but it would require getting 2 time slots and doing a quick tune. I am sure if we fill the day, they will let us do our own scheduling which would allow for tuning on a couple cars. It is still up in the air. My guy has not confirmed yet, and I do not want to bother the shop if it only going to be a couple guys doing just a quick tune.

If you need to dial in that last little bit at WOT, I am sure we can get that taken care of. If you are looking for a full tune. . . . . . . This may not be the best day to do it.

But we did confirm that we are allowed to bring a BBQ!!!!

This is more of a dyno/meet. Not a tuning session.
We have a guy there who can tune, but how much do you expect to get done in 20 minutes?

If you do want to tune, the dyno is available 5 days a week and they stay open late.

If our tuner is there, he is cheap.
But this is more of a dyno day, the tuning would be just to get that last little bit dialed in. Doing major work would almost require a whole evening on the dyno.

This is just a cheap dyno day set up by a local company for getting numbers for your car. But if we do get the tuner there, and we have some extra time, I am sure we can work something out.
I will keep you updated on the whole thing as the days draws closer.

I noticed 2 other dyno threads at the top of the list today.
So I felt that this one needed to be bumped

something just came up and I MIGHT not be able to make it for this. I'll know more in a few days. (unrelated to wallet's pain)
