Remember to gut the cat and make it obnoxiously loud, then drive to Rowland Heights and go take pictures at Cue with your asian homies. Be sure to rev at all the teenybopper asian girls and do the ^____^ face at them. Buy them some dranks (apple strawberry boba) and pho. Then show them the true power of the Rx8 by dorifutooooo-ing through the parking lot, make sure your friends say "OH MA GAAAAAHH".

^true.

Most intakes for the most part are for noise. There may be some hp gain, but IMO, nothing noticeable until after some tuning...

yea if i were you I'd get a K&N panel filter, an RB exhaust, springs, top it off with some 19" wheels and a MS kit and bang your set.

There's not much a girl wont do in the passenger seat of a RX-8.

Answer to new question...

USE THE SEARCH BUTTON!!!!

lol umm there are around 5,000,000,000 threads about synthetic oil. IMO stay away from synthetic, just go with a standard mineral based oil 5w-30 or 10w-30 use that until you figure out whats what.

Just check your dipstick at every fill up, don't turn on the car and shut it off suddenly, change the coils plugs and wires every 30-50k, and whatever you do remember the 8 essentially has 0 torque so don't go racing mustangs and 3 series you'll just look silly.

Red: did you happen to catch what kinda oil your car started with? it's not always recommended to switch from standard oil to synthetic.

I roll with Royal Purple and i don't have any problems yet........................yet
