hot import nights was pretty fun this year, there were actually a lot more rx-8's compared to prior years.
got to meet T-ReX-8 who had the best looking 8 in the show with an amazing model
Also saw this one with a greddy turbo kit and exoticspeed exhaust if i remember right. i really liked the way the lip looked too, couldnt find the owner though
Also saw this one with project mu calipers, re-amemiya intake and oil coolers too i believe, those look hella sick
i saw Rx8 Fanatic's car there too, i looked around to say hi but didn't see you there
lastly i saw a white stock looking 8 in the parking lot, i think i saw you on east ave in livermore a few weeks back, i waved you waved back
all in all a pretty good show

Some contribution.
Hope you won't mind.
4 RX-8s in the show.
Plenty (I saw 6) in the parking lot.
Congratulation for c41250n.
1st place Mazda in the show.
New paint worth every penny.

ha ha i'm sorry my bad! i love the white. i was thinking about doing the same on mine after getting my carbon fiber hood, because CF on white looks ohh so sexy
i didnt get a good look at the interior on this one, now i feel like i missed out. that HUD looks hella sick. i was looking for the owner but couldnt find him.
the owner of the grey with the autoexe body kit is rx8 fanatic. i couldnt find him at the show either.
the grey with the CF hood and the roll bar is t-rex-8
Ohh my god she is gorgeous!
great pictures man! i seem to have lost my camera somewhere between HIN, the club, my friend's house, and back home =[
i went to my car to find my camera to upload my pics and i cant find it anywhere

I'm the owner of the blue one. Sorry I wasn't around much, everything that could have gone wrong that trip had and I just wanted a break. I spent most of the actual show in the hotel swimming pool. Sorry about that. I'll tell you guys whatever you want to know about the car though.

did they really bumped you up to performance?
i am really surprise!!!
how do you know you got bumped up to performance class?
cause i know they dont do it that way, usually when there is not enough nice car, then they'll bump cars up, but when there are a lot of nice cars, they put cars to lower class!
cause i know some cars got performance class before and when there was a lot of nice car, they put them in driven instead!
i am really surprise!!!

Fast forward to the judge coming over. Car is ready with the mirrors showing the underbrace/coils/sways/end links etc checks it out and I can see he has a weird look on his face. I go over to see whats up and he starts asking me questions while staring at my mod list and the car. First thing out of his mouth, "Nice track setup you got here.." I tell him, "Thats what I built it for, hoping to get it dialed in and actually be active this season or next, I drive it a lot on the street" He goes into some cliff noted story on how he daily drove his track car. Then he takes a look at the suspension mods and then peeks at the roll bar, "Is this required?" I tell him "Depending on class, in BS no but beyond that it can be as well as in NASA and some big tracks/courses" he nods and moves on, looking at the seats "No race seats?" I go "No I have harnesses for my stock seats, heated and comfy, why change that or the steering wheel" He agrees and moves on, checks out the numbers on the door. He sees the "EndlessMotoring" banner on the window and ask a little about my affiliation with that shop. When he asked about the wheels, I tell him "Nothin special, just zigens 17X10s +25 all the way around" He says "17s are badass on these cars for the track" I give him the awkward nod and head off because Misa Campo wanted to do some pics, I leave with her and as I am leaving he yells out "Recommended for track use only" obviously reading what he saw on the NT-01s. I think "whatever, hot models waiting, gotta go" I leave and he looks it over a little then moves onto my friends Accord/TSX.
I come back and my boy comes up to me and says "I thought you were in the Driven class earlier" and I tell him "I am.. I better be.." He tells me he saw the guy circle the Perf. category on my paper. I was perturbed but it was no biggie, we came to network and we got a lot of new accounts and made new friends so the show was definitely a hit. I knew I had no chance against the guys in the Perf. class, Driven is always a toss up. Perf requires flawless vehicles and with mine being driven regularly with its aging paint its far from perfect. If it was a big show like a Nopi or SpoCom event I might have gone over to fix the problem, but HIN is just for fun now a days so I enjoyed myself. All that mattered to me at the end of the day is another RX8 won. I get tired of the RX7s winning everything.
