I have just been down to the Hilo dealer to talk to the visiting North America Districts Sales Manager who is here for the day.

I think I want to cry. Apparently our pre-order (from February) got lost - in never made it into a build request. Grrrrrrrr.

Anyway for all the rest of you lucky kamaaina bastards, there is a ship to Hawaii that is on water. On it are 8 cars for the Hilo dealer, 2 of which have already been sold. There are also a similar number of cars for the Kona dealer, with pre-orders on them also. Sorry, couldn't memorize the VINs in time :-)

If you do not have a pre-order, the rest of the dealer cars seem to be either automatics (various packages) and a couple of manuals (basic package only). The colours seemed to be black, red, silver, and yellow (no blues).

If any of those appeal, get down there. Ship is apparently expected on June 24th.

As for us, they are going to try and divert a dealer car from the July shipment (which is expected at the end of July). Sob.
