I'm just wondering if anyone has been to these open house bbq's that are sponsored by organizations such as Prostreet or AutoRND. From my experience I've been to one sponsored by Weapon R and their *bbq* consisted of tortilla chips and sodas. I hoped they would have at least hot dogs!
Speaking of hot dogs, I think that at the prostreet bbq we will see a lot of *hot dogs* - the ones that hurt your eyes and *sausages.* Note how they didnt mention any girls. Heh

The AutoRnD BBQ had hot dogs, hamburgers, Options videos and we even got into a little GT4 competition at the end, oh yeah lots of cars and gear heads to talk to. Pretty kewl stuff.
This Pro-Street event looks to be the same fun deal. Might have to stop by

Yep, we talked to our customer this weekend, and he should be bringing by his RX8 that we installed the GReddy kit on, and tuned. You can see how the kit looks in person if you have not seen it yet.
Hope to see you guys there!

I don't think the posted in a lot of places. Only reason we probably know about it is because of the turboed 8. They hadn't even posted in the clubrsx site, so I let them know.

I am the 'turbo 8' they're referring to...don't know if I'll make it or not.
So far, the GReddy kit is working like crap. Stalls galore, constant check engine light, and a defective boost controller solenoid that has taken over a week to diagnose & fix...maybe it is backordered. There's good torque down low, but going above 6k rpms is not really possible...the car doesn't even accelerate if you try. Also, it bogs/stutters at WOT.
It is barely drivable right now.
At this point, color me "buyer's remorse for dropping so much coin on something that is making my car less enjoyable to drive. I still hope that the new boost controller solenoid will fix the high rpm/WOT problem, but I doubt it will address the CEL/stalling issues. I did load Matt's 5/5/05 map to my eManage, but that didn't appear to fix anything.
...got my doors blown off by a 740i today on an 'on ramp duel'. That wouldn't have happened stock...

I might be able to make it, I don't know for sure....
Sorry you're having so many problems Sapp, I was actually excited to get a ride in your car when it was done, but I guess it's not even drivable. Hope the best happens and everything gets fixed.
