High-flow cat So Cal. 8's
Hey guys, my 8 is in the shop right now getting debadged. I need a High-flow cat to replace my plugged cat on my 04. I would like to pick it up before friday! If you have any other rx8 parts my second gear synchro is going out. Im looking to put in a short shifter new synchro's and possibly change my gearing to 456. Suggestions or Help!?

It'll be tough to find a Cat in the next 48 hours so I suggest just gutting your OEM cat. Have the shop take a large metal object (crowbar comes to mind) and have them gut yours out so at least you have a temporary fix.
A fairly popular and somewhat inexpensive replacement would be the RP high flow from www.rx7.com
If you want a short shifter, the Axial Flow Engineering shifter is the ONLY way to go. Well, not really the only option out there but by FAR the best. They're located in SoCal so shipping is quick and Richard (the owner) is a great guy to do business with

wow thanks! Im definetly going to have to go talk to them about that, It's wierd because i see so many people trying to get rid of exhausts but no cats? I have other plans for the 8 so im not ready to commit to a particular exhaust yet.. im going to head over to my buddy John at JIC Magic for my suspension tuning but i need all this little stuff fixed first! I dont wanna just do a temporary fix, id rather wait but thanks for the advise and i'll check out axial sometime next week.
