how to install appearance package

Hey guys,

sorry about this noobie post, but i was wondering if there was anyone in the sacramento area that knew how to install this. The mazda dealerships in my area all went out of business and now i am looking to get this appearance kit installed along with my tein springs.

please throw any advice or recommendations where i can get this done.

thanks

i can do it for u for free but i leave outta town and wont be back till june 7th. I live in davis so it's right next to sac.

btw, it should come with instructions so you should be able to do it yourself.
Also, a new mazda dealership opened up in the elk grove area, so you could get it done there.

A lot of dealers farm out their body work to shops. Not sure if there was anyway to see which shops the dealers use. The body kits are tricky to work on if you don't know what you're doing, particularly the side skirts.

The appearance kit you can install yourself, I installed mine. The front bumper will have cross hairs where you have to drill into to bolt up the front and holdw woth the double sided tape. The sides will hold with double sided tape and the bolts along the fender wall and same goes for the rear. The rear does have a cross hair place to drill also, but you have to remove your rear bumper.

If your willing to make an trip out to tracy. I can install your TEIN's springs. I have installed all of our guys suspesion here in the central valley. I used to have the TEIN's S tech, but then got the TEIN basic.

oh yeah, and i brought my car to the dealerships in roseville and the one in eg.

just to mess around, i asked how much it would cost to install the parts on my car, they said 500 =/ and on top of that, full maintenance would be $617, but all i really saw was numbers just being punched into calculators. haha

f that.

any of you visit lollicup in sacramento lately? the one on stockton blvd?

saw a few rx8s, but wasnt sure if its anyone on this forum

oops, forgot i offered to help
so just the full appearance package right? including the spoiler?
what full maintenance did u ask to be done? i bet my bud and i can help with some of those if it's like spark plug changes and stuff. let me know, and i live in davis. I bet the dealership was probably just calculating labor hours in the calculator.

EDIT: and you shouldnt worry about showing up for meets. ppl show up in stock cars all the time
