yes they are all supposed to by law...i have still yet to get under my dash and kill the stupidity...and then remove the components...

its due to dumb soccer moms having blowouts due to low tire pressure, or a blown tire due to under inflation, not knowing how to drive and then rolling the mini-vans when they panic...

wasnt introduced until mid last decade...

especially after that whole firestone tire explosion fiasco...

TPMS = tire pressure monitor sensor...basically an idiot light on your dash lights up if the pressure is too low...

and no...your car does not have it...too early of a model...

its practically worthless...lights up when its generally too late anyway...

next time you drive my car...you'll notice an orange light with a tire...its the car saying..."ACK I HAVE NO WHEELS!!" because i am using RPF1's without the sensors...

=)

I think our tire pressure is recommended at 220kPa.. mine lights up around 180 kPa. At which point I pull out the tire inflation kit and pump her up!

Heh...if you "track" you learn about tire pressure realllllly fast...

too hot...they explode or your greasy...too cold...you have no traction...

dont even get me started on tracking tire temps across the face in order to determine if your doin it wrong...

Yeah I really should check my tire pressure more often..

If anything it'll save some gas. Reminds me of that whole Obama/McCain debate over this.

over inflate to save gas...the reduced surface friction is where you get your savings...however do not overheat them...as then they will explode due to increased pressure...unless you use nitrogen which is inert...and a easy way to control tire temps by removing a variable...

TPMS is an important notice. Couple times I've started up, got the (!) and beep noise. Turns out I'm down several PSI. First sign of a nail that I need to get removed and patched up. Allows me the opportunity to pump up enough to get to the tire shop, home, or work with proper tire pressure. Otherwise I'd never know I'm down to 27 PSI. Could have proved fatal.

Maybe I'm just really **** about my car and tire pressures...but usually it was always too late in my opinion to trigger...even now it doesnt trigger even tho my sensors are missing for at least 15 minutes or something retarded...

I could understand that its annoying because u have aftermarket wheels without the sensors, im still on sensors and my TP is suppose to be at 40-50 one time my (!) light beeped and i was at 25 psi and i pumped it up again, (!) again at 25 psi and again i pumped more air, i come around to going to a tire shop and yup NAIL!!!!or something similar. I love my TPMS! Also they let you know to inflate ur tire not only to keep u safer and give u more MPG but also from tire wear!!

I believe I saw jedi, black rx8 w/ MS wing + aero kit, on the 55 S at around 3:05PM.

From the looks of it, it appeared that no one was driving the car

Jeez, you are tall.

Saw this POS at a huge meet (300ish cars) in Salida. It was the only 8 and probably 1 of 2 Mazdas (there was a bucket RX7 there I believe as well..)

This car AND DeeDubs were POS cars, even though Dubbs was the best looking SoCal 8 by far and this one is the best looking one in NorCal, they in turn represent how much of a POS all of our cars are..

^^^ lol wtf did I just say?

The car's mine lol, and yes I scooped em up el Rapido... I had some Advans on order but figured I'd go that route, similar style, same color so what the hoot. They looked hot on his car and over all with my more aggressive front end and color scheme they look better on my car. Tell him I said that hahaha!

Anything but chrome..
