Installation Cost for Greddy Turbo Install?
What should one expect to pay for the Greddy Turbo Kit installation? I know most people on the boards did it themselves, which I have no clue how to do.
Thanks!
Thanks!

wow do you only go to this specific forum or something? It's all over the boards.
Yeah, 1000 is about what you should expect.

Well, the plan was to just get the piping and turbo from Greddy (rather than have it custom) and integrate the HKS FCon Pro from an HKS Certified shop in LA. Its a place called Blast Engineering and they're next door (and partners) with Motorex. I was planning on selling the eManage and the Airinx intake on the boards when I did figure out what I was going to do concerning the turbo.
where's your shop located? And, roughly, how many hrs will it take to install?

Alex, I am in San Jose and I'd love to come by and checkout your turbo whenever you get one or get one installed. I've been checking out the Greddy, but at this time, I really don't have the money to get this done :-(

a couple of shops I asked wouldn't even considering doing the installation....a third was going to charge 3500 (this is in the range of what Razz1 indicated...about 30 bucks an hour)..it did include a before and after dyno though

$700 for the GReddy install was what I paid.
I actually gave the shop $1000 to install the turbo, BOV, Timer, Pro-fec EO-1, Axial Flow Short Shifter, swap out my winter tires, adjust my coilovers, replace the battery and do a complete dyno tuning of the emanage. :D

I think what would be valuable is to list the county and state which you had this done....because it seems that price differences may be dependent upon the location of your shops....
My estimate was from San Bernadino county in California....
The two shops that wouldn't consider doing the install were from Orange County California.

Moostaaf29 Here is the receipt! The place is called Piston Rotary Motorsports.
It was not a friend connection, however the owner did tell me that he would probably do it again for the same price. You should get in touch with him. Only problem was that they had my car for a week, but then again I was in NY most of that time so it really didn't affect me :p
Sorry, I have edited this Message a bunch of times. How in the hell do you attach a picture?
