International Car Show@Mcenry San Jose Convention Center (my experience)
7th-11th of Jan.
12pm-10pm
So I go last night (8th) at 7pm and I'm thinking to myself "this ought to be a good time to go no one should be here since it's evening time and it's a thursday"
BOY WAS I WRONG!!
We had trouble finding parking which wasn't too bad, just took sometime. So we get in and the admission is $8.00 which again isn't too bad. Now the bad part. I'm walking around looking at what all the manufacturers had on display. Schmoozing and sitting in some honda product, I couldn't help but over hear someone. "OMG, it's the new RX7." Okay. . . WTF?!? I make my way over to the Mazda area and ofcourse the guy was wrong. It was the 8 he was talking about. Much to my disbelief this titaium grey fully loaded 8 (except for navigation) was pulling all the attention away from everything around. So I decided to stick around to see what the spokesperson had to say about it. Oh wow. It was like being at the dealership with the guy who thinks he knows everything about the car, when in fact he only knew what was listed on his dinky little brochure. I opened it up and it was word for word. Much props to Mazda and the 8 for displaying well, BOO!! to spokesperson who was out that night.
I know this seems like it was going no where but I just felt like bitching and moaning. :D
